I have my 1900 gram female in one of NPI 36" stackable. It is actually pretty nice, although I prefer tubs.

Right now I have a Suriname Red Tail in a glass enclosure with a screen top. I covered the screen top with paper towel and plexiglass. The humidity is decent, but drops pretty quick. The hot side is very hard to control. Are any of these plastic cages more reliable for establishing proper husband than glass enclosures?

The last post on this threat was in 2011, but to answer your questions all of them are better than glass enclosures.

Yes any reptile made tank is way better than any FISH tank. Well worth the investment. Animal plastics are great. If you have the access to a table saw and drill you can make your own and buy every thing at manards for half the price.
