i have these blocks of "plantation soil" "tropical terrarium substrate" u soak it in water and i mixed it 50 50 with 100% natural cypress mulch. its supposed to help with humidity. my humidity is sitting around 30% which is nowhere near enough. can i spray some water on the bedding and foil the top screen to help out???

you can spray a couple times a day...just make sure the bedding isn't wet or doesn't stay damp.

Congratulations on getting a ball python! They are truly amazing animals, and I LOVE mine! I second the get ready to spend hours on this website. Been a member since... whatever the date says under my avatar and absolutely love it! So much to learn, and tons of good advice.

Just remember, there's no one perfect way to take care of a ball python. They're all different, and you might need to tweak things if one thing or another doesn't work.

    Welcome to THE addiction!
