Re: i have a bit of a problem and i need help in a timely fashion
He'll go to the warmest, darkest place he can, especially after eatting. The further from the radiator the better, so he doesn't go back into it.

dont mess with him so much. he wil come out eventually. if you keep messing with him hes just gonna tense up and stay there. he will come out eventually. just dont stress it. set up some bait and take a few deep breaths and wait!

maybe pour some water on him.
Re: i have a bit of a problem and i need help in a timely fashion
Not to be a Debbie downer, but I hope he hasn't gotten burned. I remember when I was a wee lad, and my grandma had one of those at her house. My brothers and sisters and I would see how long we could keep our hand on it -- usually only about 2 or 3 seconds.
Good thing you turned it off (or down). Like others said -- I think he will go elsewhere once it is dark and he doesn't feel threatened -- and with the possibilitey of food. I am sure he is stressed right now!
Good luck!

try putting his hide along the wall with a light over it to keep it warm. he will eventually crawl over and curl up in there. good luck
