Kurt Pellegrino def. Fabricio Camoes via submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 2, 4:20.

Jon Fitch def. Ben Saunders via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Jim Miller def. Mark Bocek via unanimous decision - (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Nate Diaz def. Rory Markham via TKO (strikes) - Round 1, 2:47.

Ricardo Almeida def. Matt Brown via submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 2, 3:30.

Rousimar Palhares def. Tomasz Drwal via submission (heel hook) - Round 1, 0:45.

Jared Hamman def. Rodney Wallace via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Matthew Riddle def. Greg Soto via disqualification (illegal upkick) - Round 3, 1:30.

I was pretty much on with my picks except the Mir/Carwin fight. I really like Carwin and hated picking aganist him but I thought Mir was going to take him. I am really impressed Carwin defeated Mir so fast :salute:

Who knew Hardy was made of rubber?
And GSP, classy as ever.

I have a new hero. Hardy.. Wow
I was not impressed with the "fight" overall but gained a new respect fot Hardy.
Always happy to see Mir get beat down.

It was a tough decision but I was watching boxing last night. Caught Mir/Carwin this morning and loved it. Frank Mir had that coming.


Happy we get Brock vs (Carwin/Velazquez/anyone but Mir 3).

Seven fighters were suspended following UFC 111: St-Pierre vs. Hardy on Saturday night.

Six fighters were suspended for standard medical concerns. Rousimar Palhares received a disciplinary suspension of 90 days for not releasing his heel hook submission in a timely fashion in his victory over Tomasz Drwal.

-Frank Mir was suspended for 30 days following his knockout loss.

-Mark Bocek was suspended for 30 days due to a scalp laceration.

-Rory Markham was suspended for 30 days due to a facial laceration. He was also fined $1,000 for being overweight at the weigh-ins. The fine was added to Diaz’s purse.

-Tomasz Drwal was suspended indefinitely pending an x-ray of his left knee and ankle.

-Rousimar Palhares was suspended for 90 days for not releasing the heel hook submission he used to defeat Drwal.

-Jared Hamman was suspended for 60 days for a laceration on his right foot, but was also suspended indefinitely pending an x-ray of his right foot.

-Matt Riddle was suspended 30 days, but was also suspended indefinitely pending CT head scan results.

Stoked GSP is continuing his winning streak...IMO, he represents UFC and MMA very well and a class act too boot...

Mir was suspended due to the way he lost. I think it is mandatory if you lose that way to get this type of suspension and nothing personal towards Mir.

All of the fights were pretty obvious, I was not impressed with the decision between Jim Miller and Mark Bocek. Bocek controlled 90% of the fight.
