West Alabama Reptile Expo

2 things....

1. I need a roll call for each person that will be needing a hotel room, vendors and folks who are coming just to enjoy the show. IF any of you GREAT people are sharing a room, please state that in your email so that you are not double counted. I have emails from the vendors that are not on BPnet, but I need a combined total. It will need to be pretty accurate. The hotel bids are holding at 49$ nite plus tax... but we are still pushing them ;)

My regular email is getting slammed! Its great but takes a while to sort :O
There are several hotels that are within walking distance of the Civic Center, but because they are so close, they are not wanting to discount any prices :(
And most of them are not pet friendly. So...
La Quinta Inn Homewood and Quality Inn Birmingham are both around 9-10 miles, about a 10 min drive on the interstate. BOTH of these hotels are pet friendly :gj:

2. One of the Door Prizes/Drawings that will be presented at the show by Vyper RTS is a.... 22" Flat Panel monitor!!! (Thanks Jim :D )

Please keep posting to this thread so everyone can see it and take advantage of this hotel discount, if they choose to do so. We are meeting with these guys each Wed afternoon to talk with them and need those numbers so we can get the best rate possible!

The rates will be 49.50 per nite & no pet fee :gj::gj:

The Quality Inn Group rate is the same, but they charge a 15$ pet fee :(

This discounted rate at La Quinta is only valid for rooms booked by March 5th... Any rooms "Blocked off" for us after that date will be unblocked and booked at regular rates...

La Quinta should have me an email tomorrow with all the info and how to book with the discount. I will post the email or the link on here so everyone who is attending can take advantage of the discounted rate :D:D

Alright, We're in, we'll be there! I am making my reservations now, and lets hope the tax money is in before then! Even if it isn't, we'll still be there.
