Re: How do You guys do it...?!
White wash (clean white paper, or a white sheet) to really bring out the contrasts, and I give mine a light tap on the head. Keeps em still for a few shots... though all my snakies aren't head shy anymore.

The Lemon pastel I got from SloanReptiles here in BP.net. Now the Axanthic is supouse to be a VPI Axanthic. But Im not so sure since he was sold by me by a pet shop that was realy trying to sell him in kingsnake. Although when I talked to them in the phone they sounded like a nice couple.
I realy like his colors, but I wish I could prove him out with another VPI. He is 900+ grams now and close to 2 years old. He is my only adult BP so far.

Ya, I have one of those white tables with a mirror in the wall that usualy come with rented appartments in the new placed we moved into. But again they wouldnt sit still and kept trying to get off the table and down in the floor. And other than my spider baby ball, the others not head shy anymore.
I've used it before, the pictures turn out like this:

Looks like you used a flash, or some direct lighting source. Try indirect lighting, you wont get the huge glare off the white. Remember, white reflects light.

This is my pastel George (of the jungle) on a white sheet with overhead lighting behind me.
