Here too, I think we've got somewhere around 20 inches, but I don't know how they're going to measure it with all the wind blown snow.

    Thank You!

It's not very windy here and haven't had much in snow drifts so I went out and measured it...lol

At 8:15 am on Thursday morning, we still have 20 mph winds with gusts to 40 mph. Last night I shoveled a small path just incase of an emergency, but I'll tell you the truth, I don't feel like doing anymore shoveling. I'm still having pains from my bypass surgery, I fought through it with the first 2 storms (Dec and last weekend), but I don't know if I'm going to be able to dig out from this one.

    This really does suck!

Well run out and get yourself a fine collection of frogs. Do you know what people pay to have a pond dug in their back yard? :rolleye2:

    This too shall pass.

Measured in my back yard 34 inches from the first storm and just over 12 inches from this storm and it's still snowing. The wind has picked up and they're saying it's blowing at about 20 mph with gust to 35. They're also saying later this afternoon, winds could gust to 60 mph.

A power outage is my biggest concern along with roof colapse.

We had a firehouse in town have it's roof collapse, then started a fire. All equipment in the building was lost. Luckily the roof over the residence part of the building did not collapse, so no one was injued. However 2 paramedic unit and 2 fire trucks were destroyed. Also a military humvee was lost. A National Guard unit was dispatched to help them get to homes that are still snowed in during the first storm and was still there last night.

    It could have much worse!

I heard about the station in Sykesville.

The city can't really do anything about our roads, we got people parking in the middle of the street so even if plows did come through there's no way they can plow anything. Haven't had class all week, luckily some of my professors are giving assignments out online.

This was taken a week ago before the last storm, There is probably as much snow on the ground now as there was in that picture and the cars are not parked nice and neat like that anymore.

Jim Smith isn't my real name, but Clark Kent was already taken.;)

Yes, I know I shouldn't be doing it, but I'm really Superman. But you sound just like my wife and mother, maybe it's a girl thing. :gj:

I promise I won't shovel anymore snow after tonight. Well, maybe not promise. More like I'll agree not to shovel anymore after tonight. Well, maybe not an agreement, more like seeing your point of view. Well, maybe not, maybe more like, I'm Superman and nothing can hurt me.:weirdface
    Yeah, that's it.:)

    How's that sound?:rolleye2:

But serioiusly, thank you for your concern!
