    That's exactly what I was going to say... some of mine (especially my new black pastel) whistle quite audibly during shed, and occasionally for one shed cycle following. I guess they get skin up their nose, and it doesn't always come off! As long as it goes away within one shed cycle, and no other RI symptoms are accompanying, I'd wager it's probably just some dry skin. JMO, of course. :oops:
