This is what it looks like here, nothing like what you have in MD though.

Baltimore City just announced a Snow Emergency Phase 3 is now in affect. that means NO VEHICLES on the roads of Baltimore City except government and emergency vehicles.

This is getting bad folks. The mayor said to prepare for power outages. Winds are forecasted to be above 50 mph. And that's in the city. I have no idea how high the winds will get where I live. I live on the bay and I'm not sure how bad it will get.

They say we've gotten another 20 inches today, but with the winds, I don't know how they can measure it. If that's the case that's over 50 inches of snow in 6 days, and it's still snowing.

Anybody ever see the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"? I think I know how they felt.

I don't live very far from Baltimore, only about an hour away. I live in York, PA and we are just waiting for this snow to end. The wind has caused some pretty severe drifting of the snow. I have had to make a path for my poor dog for when she needs to go out. The snow is almost up to her head. She is a medium sized dog. I have not seen snow like this since I was a child. I guess tomorrow will be spent digging the cars out of the snow.

I heard on the radio earlier that I 78, I 81 & I 83 have been closed. Looking outside now we have about 15" and it's still snowing. On a good note my Mojo Pied has locked up with a Mojo this morning and is still locked up. :D

I was very hesitant but after they been locked up for 14 hours that I've noticed I snapped a quick pic and they're still locked.

    Thanks

That's some bad news. I doubt you will find a shovel anywhere near the Mid Atlantic area.

    Good Luck!
