Anyone who broke into my home would be walking into a den of lions...well more like two dogs lol but nevertheless my parents room is at the back end of the house and has a nice little armory and as for my room, intruders would have to go through a locked door and that would give me enough time to grab my sword. Melee is better at close range anyway lol.

Wow I'm surprised by the responses from people being pro gun. I was expecting people to be very opinionated on why we don't need guns. i do fully agree with preventative measures like locked doors and such, i do believe guns are the last line of defense, should criminals be persistent enough.

<-this is why we have the best Mexican food in the country! they are welcome to stay as long as they pay there way like the rest of us (taxes, Social Sec). Just remember what history has taught us as soon as the gov. takes your guns, they restrict your rights more & more, then they tell you what to believe case in point: Hitler

    I don't get this.

The fact it's completely made up and never happened doesn't seem to matter to a lot of you?

The moral behind it doesn't seem particularly edifying to me either - but that's almost certainly just cultural and nothing to get excited about.

But, pretending it was real for a moment.

I'm mainly puzzled by the small amount of people wondering what would have happened if the little girl had an argument with her parents - could she have taken the same path?

I know a few 11 year olds - I wouldn't trust the judgement of most of them with a hot kettle. I have seen a few interviews with former child soldiers and psychologically I can't say they escaped undamaged either.

I won't dwell on the xenophobia as the doctor told me to watch my blood pressure.

To correct this once again - Hitler did not introduce gun control to disarm the general public.

The previous government did attempt a registration policy to try and limit the chaos and disruptive power of the group that became the nazi government as well as the communist movement.

Why are there so many false statements made about world history in these sorts of debates?

Seriously people - take your "cold dead hand" and use it to open a damned book.

Yeah, we do have the best mexican food. That, I love. Most of the time it's those people who build their restaurant from the ground up that are the more respectable ones. I'm in no way saying all immigrants are criminals. I do not judge every immigrant that I see, because I wouldn't like it if I went to France and everyone judged me. (That, and you never know if they really are an immigrant) In my eyes, you have my respect when I meet you. It's what you do after that will effect how I look at you.

I have grown up in California, always in the areas that has alot of field work. Rice fields when I was younger, and now wine country. I have a different outlook than alot of people on Immigrants, and I believe that's because I have grown up around it.

i was meaning about the gov. controlling every aspect of your life when your rights are removed, like entering your home to see if your hiding "enemies of the state" and having "work camps" and blaming a race of people not gov. officials actions instead. like Hitler did.

criminals don't buy guns an guns shops any way, to abolish them makes there way of life easier that all.
