Just get you some mouse litter. Drives my snakes nuts.

My picky boa actually seemed uninterested in the live hopper I offered him. My fault, I abruptly woke him up, I forget he's so specific about eating. So I set him next to the box that was holding the mice I had for my bigger BP. That got his attention, in fact he was plastered up against it when I went to put him back in his cage. :):D

I cant tell you how much it means to me! and also im glad there are people who love these fantastic animals as much as I do... Its sad so many people fear or hate snakes.... btw for all who are interested, she was very stuborn and not coming out to explore at night as it was relatively cold... i assume she went into some sort of hybernation, she didnt even venture out for two weeks until I gave her some heat and a scent to entice her to explore. I was very worried because it was the rainy/cold season in CA which made her kinda resist movement.... anyway.. if anyone has a similar situation a hot lure spot didnt work, i had to warm her up and give a scent because the overall cold temp of her hiding spot made her ball up and not wanna leave, so the hairdryer i think really helped!
