My cell phone is my only phone - I cut off my land line last year. I'm not a big phone talker either, but get me on the phone with another herper and start talking snakes, you can't get me off the phone! LOL
Texting - well, I didn't used to text, but some people from this very forum started texting me and I was having to pay per text, so I broke down and got a text plan as well as when I upgraded phones, got one with a qwerty keyboard. I have 1500 plan, but I don't use nearly all of them. I tend to text more, like this past weekend when we were all getting together in B'ham and checking up on where everyone was.

Re: Texting/Calling
I hate texting and I don't especially like talking on it. But I have no landline so it's my only phone. I also don't have internet at home so I stay on my iphone

Re: Texting/Calling
Hmmmmm..... Lotta people on here must be in the older generations because everyone I know, work with, or see is always texting or on the phone.
I average about 1500 texts a month, my wife averages about 2500-3000 and we use around 1400 minutes. Compared to alot of people I know, these are little numbers.

Re: Texting/Calling
I txt more than I talk. If you think about it, talking it easier. But, I txt  My friend from Michigan hates talking, so she txts me ALOT. And she's going through a bad on again off again relationship and I seem to be the only person that can talk to her bluntly. We txt alot, I don't know exactly how many.
The only people I talk to on the phone is family and my BF. Sometimes friends call, but for the most part they txt. I HATE talking on the phone. Maybe if some people didn't talk for 20 mins straight with me only saying "Uh huh" and "Oh how funny." a couple times I wouldn't mind it much. Sometimes it seems since I'm the one that doesn't have a job, suddenly my job title is "Person to call when you need to rant and rush them off the phone when they start talking"
