I feel too when you post your snake and hear all the good feedback it boast's your confidence in keeping BP as well as make's you feel closer to your snake and the forum community in that your being acknowledged for your hard work with your snakes.

Yes, but I don't see the point in a poll to validate you or your snakes. It seems to me a bit self-centric. Look at me - vote on my snake. Let your snake (and your sales, if that's why you're asking, but it seems a bit late to be asking after you already own the snake) speak for themselves. This is strictly my own opinion.

I'm new here so I thought I'd post a reply from that point of view. I am fascinated by the wide variety of morphs and being a newbie, I have no idea what makes a "good" specimen or a "not so good" one. I have found the polls to be a good way to be educated in that aspect from the viewpoint of the experts.

That said, a "Hot or Not" might be a good idea for anyone wishing to participate.

not everyone will take the time to leave a comment. most people will vote on a poll just to see the poll and view what others think.

its just like any other thread in the pictures forum, perhaps with a little more worth because it asks you for your input rather than just showcasing the snake(s). if you can get annoyed by this you have some other problems lol

it gives people a chance to be honest and anonymous if they don't really like the snake for whatever reasons

Not completely anonymous. You can check to see who voted and where they placed thier vote.

To answer the post question, rating snakes is growing on me. I find it interesting to see what everyone thinks about certain morphs.
