This is why many people dont pair up a spider morph to a spider morph. The super version of the spider is a lethal gene combo and they do not survive to hatch. I do not think anyone has ever had one actually hatch out alive yet.

once you get into triple combos most of the percentages are really low like 1-6%

with that pairing you will never get just a spider one is a super pastel so every snake in the clutch would be atleast a pastel.

your percentages never go up but your chances do.

Not everyone can be as genetically amazing as you!! And I don't think you should condemm anyone for buying a snake and not knowing the genetics of it. I bought a Bee ......and though I kind of get it...I am sure that I will have questions down the road. Isn't that one of the reasons for site....to help others with questions. Some of us have been in this for all of a minute and a half and maybe ....just maybe we have enough cash to buy what we like. Doesn't mean we are ignorant, or that we don't know what we are doing. I have learned allot from this site and one of the things I LOVE about it is that everyone is so cool and not condesending. I have been to another site where people made me feel like an idiot (and that was clearly not the word I was looking for).....I don't go to that site anymore.

A killerbee x super pastel will produce better results in my opinion:

50% killerbees
50% super pastels.

I have a female killerbee and I will either be going for Super Mojo x killerbee; or Pewter x killer bee - can't decide which but have 2 years to make up my mind!

p.s. my first was a 66% poss het albino male - I thought I could breed that to a normal female and hatch out 66% visual albinos! We all have to start somewhere!!

Yep, this is right. I did a pencil/paper Punnett square and got the same thing (assuming no Super Spider):

1/8 Pastel
1/8 Super Pastel
3/8 Bumblebee
3/8 Killerbee

No need to get all huffy if someone either doesn't know how to do Punnett squares or has trouble doing it...or if someone likes to see the percentages. I like to see 'em too, if for no other reason than to get an idea of what to expect.

some good points made. i dont think you have to be SO rude about answering a question like that or just showing someone where they can find the answer. if you dont "want" to help then just leave it alone. they dont know what you know or they wouldn't be asking you. lighten up!

Just to let you know, there has been no research done on weather or not a homozygous spider is lethal.

The reason people don't usually pair spider to spider is because there is no visible super form and its time better spent breeding them into combos than each other.

Personally, i think the homozygous spider can exist (just like the homozygous pinstripe), it just needs to be proved out by a ton of breedings people usually don't feel like doing.
