I did have a male and female display combat behavior one time last year, and yes, I knew it was a female, because she laid eggs the year before, and he had sired a clutch the year before. Only happened one time though.

But, as well as the others have already suggested, double and triple check those sexes.

best thing is to re-check the sexes again.. who knows... it might be just foreplay... :) hehehe..

You do realize you're trying to give that "gold star" to Big Gunns right? BG will accept nothing but Platinum. BP.net will need to expand their budget to accommodate the "Legend in his own mind".:P:D

Sometimes that will happen(female and male combat) when the female is not in the mood. Snakes can act like human females do 99% of the time.:D "99%" of the time with normal humans....BG is the exception of course.:D

I also have a male that gets rowdy sometimes when put in with female. He eventually calms down and gets to business.

Of course one always needs to be sure of sex;)

Well I triple checked the female last night and re-intoduced them. They were locked this morning. It must have just been one of those days.
