Do you mean the same snake or what is the rarest and then what is the most expensive?
To be honest there are a lot of "rare" morphs both base and combo. Every year there are more and more "new" combos produced, which would make them (for a little while) one and only morphs. Plus there are plenty of morphs that have yet to reproduce making them one and only morphs.
As far as most expensive, that's tough to say because what you see advertised on KS are *NOT* the only snakes up for sale. There is plenty of behind the scenes action going on, so who knows what snake is being sold at what price. Also keep in mind asking price is not necessarily the selling price. Plus every year the prices change, Lessers use to be selling for $30,000, now you can pick one up for $400.

Re: rarest/most expensive morph
Haven't the patternless BPs been around for awhile now? I remember seeing one at NERD's table at a show back in '04 I think; I didn't even recognize it as a ball python and when I asked what it was, someone called it a "Mr. Hankey ball."
I always thought they were honestly the ugliest morph out there. I genuinely figured that was why I hadn't seen any around for so long. But, to each his own ... An albino patternless might be kinda cool 'cos it'd probably look like a tiny albino green Burm ;)

Blue eyed Lucys are around 1,000 to 2,000 most of the time. However, I saw a wee female baby Coral Glow on NERD's website that was for 20,000 dollars, which is ironic to me cause I've seen MUCH cheaper morphs that were 200 times more attractive than that baby coral glow....
That reminds me. Just who the heck buys these 10,000+ morphs?
Re: rarest/most expensive morph
The scaleless ball python is not for sale--you saw a scam attempt. Last I heard, attempts to breed the scaleless male have failed so far. I don't believe the owner has given up on him yet, but it might sadly turn out to be that he is not fertile.
He does NOT LACK HEAT PITS. By the way. He only lacks the cup-shaped scales that normally cover the infra-red sensitive areas on his snout. The pits were never really pits to begin with, only the scales make them look that way. They're just nerve bundles in that area, and they work just fine without the scales.
I understand he eats and moves normally. He's not the only scaleless snake in the world, just the only scaleless ball python. Scaleless corns are being bred--I believe BHB has some.
If he doesn't breed, perhaps one day the mutation will occur again in ball pythons, though it might not. If he does breed...I think his offspring might be the top candidate for most expensive. lol
Right now, I have to say I think he must be the most rare. The patternless gene is not represented by just one animal--VPI said 2 were hatched, and the het parents carry the gene as well, of course. But no other scaleless ball pythons exist, and if he never breeds...well, maybe no others ever will.
