Sometimes a recession is a good thing, that and a sale on everything in his store is the only reason i got her that cheap.

I figured I would add in a pic of my Albino boy. He has been locking already this past week. :)

I myself have not purchased an Albino yet, but early last spring 08', a breeder i know sold their 4 Albino babies for $750.00 each. They looked pretty good too. Not what you would call extremely high contrast, but not dull & faded either. They were nice looking snakes. I did hold one in my hands but didn't have enough money to buy one or i would have. So i instead went with the proven breeder pastel they offered me for $200.00. Which turned out to be a good deal since he's not darkened at all since i purchased him over a year ago.

Here goes my male that I got from Mark Goodson in August of 07. I paid $600 for him back then (local pickup). He's had some up for sale recently. I highly recommend him! :gj:

He's about 1000 grams now. Long term plans for him are to make Black Pastel Albinos and Albino Pieds!

    500. From a big breeder, but that was awhile ago. At that same show i saw smaller breeders sell HC's for 450. You'll find a nice one at a show for your price range, trust me. Albinos are timeless and well worth it to have something that pops with such color.

And yes you can get "cheap" animals of any morph, but at the end of the day - are you getting an animal just for the sake of getting one (insert morph here), or because that particular animal blew you away?

As an example - I have seen enchi's pretty disgustingly low priced at a semi-local show to me - where I had to stand there and study the animal, truly study it, to determine that it wasn't just a nice banded normal (or a truly ugly enchi). I knew I wanted to add an enchi to my collection. But not just the first "great deal" to come along. I waited and waited, and I think that my patience (and willingness to pay more for her) really paid off:

Same thing with albinos. Sure - you can find "cheap" (and I hate that word as well - to me, it "cheapens" the animal) albinos if you look for them. But if you want one that looks like THIS (this is Freakie Frog's animal, btw - who I would buy off him in a heartbeat, if he were selling.):

then you're going to pay a little more.

Like Sean Bradley has said on more than one occasion - "Examine the snake - not the deal"

yeah but some people dont have enough money at this time of crisis...so i just want to save some money im not just going to give it away just like that when i can find a better looking one for a cheaper price somewhere else...
