Light Dimmer Rheostat Instructions

i just bought one from home depo great idea till i can order a real thermo.. one thing this is a lil different then yours it only lights up when off now to trim down the 100 degree warm side:colbert:

The po mans heat control.

Is there something like this that will adjust it automatically for you with some type of sensor or something that can be attached to the UTH?
