:O <--- To all of the above posts.
So I know that I said that I wouldn't be dating for a very long time after my divorce/end to a 10 year relationship with the mother of my two boys, but if I met a woman that looks like the last few posters that loved snakes like you guys do, then I may have to reconsider! :D

Oops, forgot to mention it was at work! I'm involved in fisheries research, so not allowed to keep any of the fish we catch unfortunately!

My husband said something similar before we started dating. He had sworn off women after a divorce and a near miss to just focus on his kiddos and building his business. He was my boss :D and we worked together quite closely for about 4 months before he admitted defeat and asked me to dinner. We will have been happily married for 9 years this September and I love him more today than I did then. We still work together every day too. Nobody thought our marriage would be successful because of our age difference (I'm now 28 and he's 51) but we proved them wrong.
Don't give up, but my best advise is to not look for her. It will just happen when you least expect it ;)

Thanks! He's a 2011 pinstripe and my baby. These pics are of him as a little guy and show his pattern, or lack thereof, better.http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/...n/fb92919d.jpghttp://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/...n/be68ec96.jpg

And here I thought I was a cradle robber. :D
My wife is 21 and I'm 28. We got married when she was 17 and were told by countless people how it would never work out. Someone even had the audacity to give us less than 6 months before we were divorced. Well we've been happily married for almost 4 years now. Our love has never been stronger and it just gets better with each year of marriage.
I like your advice about not looking. That is how I met my wife. Her mother was a regular customer of mine and I had no clue she even had a daughter. One day she insisted (I seriously didn't have a choice, haha) that I come check out a yard sale they were having. I went and checked it out and before I even got home I had a stalker on Facebook/Myspace. Less than a year later we were married.

On a recent hike I caught a cute little checkered garter (and yes, I've always been a spaz)

And one more. Sorry, no snake in this one :(

Yea that's a sand tiger shark. They are actually a threatened species so we were trying to be careful and quick with them. Sorry I didn't come answer quickly, but thanks Mike for answering for me :D

:D I remember my Dad explaining to one of his friends that our age difference was of biblical proportions. I wouldn't recommend that big an age difference (essentially a whole generation) to the vast majority of the population because it's so easy to end up having nothing in common and most people (women or men) have a lot of growing up to do in their early 20s. Kind of freaky to think about but my husband was getting married for the first time 3 days after I was born. I get a kick out of looking at his wedding pics, and he gets all kinds of kudos from his friends for having been able to bag a younger woman, lol :) What makes it work for us, I think, is that I've always been way older than my age and we see the world in such a similar way. From politics to religion and the importance of family, we agree on all the usual hot buttons and we don't get nasty when we argue. Helps that I'm not a high maintenance woman, I don't play games and I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty! I always had guy friends rather than girl friends growing up, so I like to think I 'get' men a little better than most :D
Exceptional relationships can exist in some strange circumstances. Congrats on your happy marriage and may you have many more such years ;)

Behold one of the worst webcams still operating XD Trouble is very sweet when she can't see anything to tangle herself on (also biggest corn snake I've ever seen, there's been speculation that she might be a mix).

Typically, Muskie are not known to be an eating fish as they have very dark meat. They put up a heck of a fight though.

I went to countryfest a couple weeks ago! On my way back to the cars I found a praying mantis just sitting on the sidewalk. To avoid it getting squished I relocated it to a tree, but took a picture first! It's the first one I've seen in 10+ years!
