Got some quick pictures of Solana the other day and she is getting much bigger.

Also, I was looking at The Reptile Report, which I haven't done in a while, and guess who was featured at the end of May?

She's getting more and more stunning Dave. I can only imagine what she'll look like as an adult!

I know. I can’t wait to see what she looks like.

I also cannot wait wait to see what she feels like. She feels softer as she grows.

    Thank you Rich.

When we first got her, she glowed, like a neon red/orange.

Now, she's not as intense, but her colors have stayed very rich (no pun intended). She's gotten more orange colored and less red, which may have something to do with that.

Do not get me wrong, she's amazing looking. We didn't know what to expect. I send Don Soderberg, at South Mountain Reptiles, her breeder, pictures regularly. He's as curious as I am to see how she turns out. Remember, as far as we know, she was the first Scaleless Sunglow Motley (with Red Factor) in the world with this clean a look. She has a couple siblings with the same genetics, but 2 have brown eyes, and are het for red factor, and one, who has the red factor, has an abnormal pattern.

Whatever "intensity" she has lost, she's gained in softness. The bigger she gets, the softer she feels. I imagine, she's the same "softness" but as she grows, it's a bigger contact patch.

Solana is happily eating weaned mice now at 160G+. She's still a total sweetheart and very calm and docile. Her brother, Figment (hypo-lavender corn), is still a bit of spaz sometimes. He's just really active, but totally docile. Solana must be part Boa or something, she is so calm, and likes to just wrap around my wrist or hand and relax.

She's really feeling soft and looking awesome as she gains size. I still adore her red eyes.
