I'm a priest in the Episcopal Church. Needless to say, I get a lot of flack for owning snakes! ;)

Whatever happened to, "All Creatures, Great And Small"? :P

I hear this dude named Noah got a lot of flack for letting them on his house boat. The mice were not amused...

The father of one of my childhood friends is an Episcopal priest. I grew up playing dungeons and dragons with his kids and they even had a snake or two as per my influence. Episcopalians generally seem cool enough to recognize a game for a game and a pet snake for a pet snake - at least around these parts.

Oh, yeah. I don't get any serious resistance--just a lot of jokes about snake-handling. I've actually talked seriously to several church members about all of Creation being good and worthy of our love and care. Even the snakes!

Camera decided to flash so the lighting was horrible, but it created a perfect shadow on my jacket. Only thing done to the picture was putting it in black and white. Love how it turned out.
