08 Female Weights???

Early 08 black pastel girl @ 1525 grams :)

All of my 09 yb's hatched Aug. 8th and are 350 to 500 grams

Some of the weights I see on kingsnake for 08's make me believe there is a shortage of rats :confused:

08 Normal girl is 1045 grams as of right now.

My heaviest 08 is a mojave from march 08 and she is at the 1500-1600 gram mark

Well to answer why snakes for sale are sometimes smaller is because the for sale snakes are commonly maintenance fed and generally don't gain weight like keepers because of that fact. That is something this guy does not do

My '08 pastel girl is over 1100g. at this point. But like others I am definately doing heavier feedings than just a maintainence feeding. My boys are fed 1 small F/T rat every 7 - 10 days while my girls are fed one med. F/T rat every 6-8 days. My boys shut down in the winter refusing food but once every 3 - 4 weeks! The girls eat straight through the winter. Fat boys don't breed well anyway so no big deal plus I watch weights.

I had a few 1100 gram 08 females, but most were around 800 grams.
