Argh... sorry but this is what I meant. I realize everyone makes the occasional error and I don't mean to be picking on Z&L but this is exactly what I mean.
"Okay let's just end this thread. Admins please delete and remove. I promise I'll be a good boy"

Actually, that part up at the top there, that's what you call a fragmentary sentence which ain't really proper grammeritically speaking.

Ask the admins for access. It is for the more heated debates of bp.net.

Not a personal insult! No worries, I only know the bad German words too...

Oh no worries folks...I didn't think that particular remark was intended to insult anyone. But anyone posting a string of random censored words would be infracted, regardless of the reason for posting them.
My point about the insult was to say that IF someone uses some obscure foreign phrase that wouldn't normally translate into something offensive in English, but was intended to be an insult to someone else who understood it....that, we would do something about as well, if we're made aware of it.

Mike...you're scaring them away from all the great discussions. If they can't hack it, they can't. Of course, we shouldn't turn them off before they play first, though.

I agree with Mike. I'm still missing some tufts of hair and patches of skin from my last foray into the danger zone. At least I still got all my fingers...

I have to cool down from time-to-time. That's my big thing. The boyfriend claims I breathe fire when I'm on some of those threads.

Re: Infractions
You guys talking about that playground thingy they have here for members to yell their opinions from?
Heh. That ain't nuthin.
Why I remember back in the long ago, when not everyone had laptop, there was this place on the web that was not like any other place that any of us there knew of. Oh sure, there were some as tried, but in the end they all faded away.....
We, those of us who lived there, we called it The Wild West and it was surely that. You came loaded for bear and prayed you didn't wake him up. You could be ripped to shreds or venerated and honoured in less time than it would take to say it.
Some called it the BOI or Board of Inquiry, but they weren't makers, originators, they weren't the gunmen who went head to head or head to gang if that was warranted, so they didn't know how wrong they were.
It was a land where thief was challenged by honesty and battle was had with no quarter asked, nor given.
Many and many a reputation was made and many more torn down for the falsehoods they truly were.
Ahhhh, that, then, there, THAT was a battle ground.
Time has moved on and the great fighters of long ago have mostly moved on. Some died, some banned, some refusing to be hindered some just not likely the company presently kept by the king over there and so to has the battle ground moved on, aged, no longer the resilient tournament fields of yore with grasses green and fresh and belly high to the horses carrying the paladins to battle. No more the brightly coloured tents, the pavilions of watchers, lurkers to some, who came to see battle done by those who battled best, beasts beaten over and again, fast friends back to back against overwhelming numbers, verbs flying adjectives delivering cuts with near surgical skill, wounding severely but not yet, not quite yet, killing outright.
Gone, all gone. Just a memory for those who knew, who were lucky enough to have been there and seen it first hand....gone.
Sigh....
Yeah, the QT is rough and tumble for THIS site, but let's not preen ourselves too selfrightously, shall we?

Re: Infractions
For those of you that don't know, the Wilomn that you find here today is truly like Ben Knobe, quietly living out his last days in the desert after having lived his earlier years as the famous warrior Obi Wan Knobe. While I would not dare to insult him by using the word Jedi in reference to him, he was once an extremely well known presence on any herp forum and is a vast source of knowledge. While he likely regards me as not yet having earned my stripes as either a herper or internet warrior I acknowledge his place in the scheme of things and I am occasionally in awe of his well written posts.

You have far and long ago surpassed any hopes I had for you when our paths first crossed in that desert of long ago, by strides most huge.
And thanks, tweren't nuthin really. They were need'n killin and I was need'n ta kill and, well, there ya go. Sincerely though, thanks and more than mere thanks, I seem to recall a time or twelve when you in the thick of it, layered in dust and blood and verbiage gone bad, yes indeed, I recall more than a few charges lead by he who now sports Official Green, charges that ended with tucked tails and trails of tears from those to face the slings and arrows of one DSIRKLE.

Re: Infractions
So now Z&L is on the banned list so I guess he is the winner in this thread. I am curious how did he manage to do that?
-
Re: Infractions
to be honest, im glad! he was really rude towards people who posted pictures of their home made racks and cages. like his were hot....please!!
-
Re: Infractions
This topic was pointless, people happen to get infractions though, mine was a mis-understanding but I didn't want to bother to persue the situation. I don't see why anybody would try to brag about infractions though.
-
Re: Infractions
I think Z&L got banned for harrassment... or so I heard.
-
Re: Infractions
Just so people do not assume anything... Z and L did not suffer any consequences from this thread, by starting it or being involved in it.
Entirely different issue...

Mmmmmm Chips.... Were they corn chips or potato chips? I prefer potato chips myself, but corn chips are okay too when complimented with the proper beverage.

im about to tear into some doritos....cool ranch....is it me or is there less flavoring on them lately??!?

Re: Infractions
Personally, I am more worried about myself rather than those who seem to like to stir up controversy. For whatever reason he was banned, it's over and I wasn't associated with the issues at hand.
I made the mistake of labeling someone, (not anyone on this forum, or any other herp forum, I suspect), with some rather crude labels. My mistake and I was called to task for it. Actually, it's great to see a forum with reigns nice and tight like this. Still loose enough to let us buck a bit, but always at the ready to reign us in should things get out of hand. ;)
