NARBC Arlington Texas Feb 7-8 2009

I'm so excited! I got to go last year, but only went to one day of the show. It will be fun to go with someone that actually enjoys herps, instead of someone that is just there (my b/f isn't real big on all the scale-y things) ^_^

its always fun to go with some1 that share the same interest, i notice they dont help when ur not suppose to buy more herps. then again, they are looking out for our best interest...:D

I think I'm staying in the hotel of the convention center...

Well, right now.. it's in the 40s I think. Weather is hard to guess, seriously. Last week it hit 80. So bring a coat and some shorts.

And tons of fun stuff to do, can't say right now, busy at the moment talking to tons of people on the phone so I can't think. But yes, lots of fun stuff to do.

Was in the 60's last week, down in the 20's this week, back in the 60's this weekend. That's TX weather for you!! :rolleye2::banana::taz:

There's lots of fun stuff to do in Dallas/Ft. Worth. The 6th floor museum about JFK's assassination is very cool. There's a couple of great art museums in both cities. Lots of great restaurants - Downtown Ft. Worth is fun to go out at on the weekends. Some cool bars and music always going on. And so forth and so forth.

not a beer fan, but all other liquors are good for me... i was thinking bout going to the fort worth zoo & the JFK assassination site. just looking forward to seeing a new state and getting out of this freezing N.Y. cold. tks

Dude, the Ft. Worth zoo is awesome IMO. Of course, I only have the dallas zoo to compare it to. But still, that's where my wife and I go from time to time. Actually, that's where I asked her to marry me!! It's one of our favorite places now!

Go to the parakeet cage, it's sweet too. They give you a popsicles stick with food and they fly all around you and land on you and eat the food. Cool stuff man.

Edit: I just visited your website for fun, I had a red eared slider named speedy!! I was like 9 at the time, but still awesome.

Unfortunately Ireland to Texas is too far for the show but I was at Chicago Reptile House last weekend while in the US on business and Brian Potter (shop owner) and NARBC organizer was telling me he has a lot of big breeders coming so there should be some good stuff to see.

For those that have questions on who/what will be available he is great at answering questions and should be able to help out.

Tony,
Potter is not good with questions now. When the show nears, and during the show, Potter is like a chicken with no head. Tons of work to do. However, Potter and Ashley do a great job with the shows.

Congrats on the trip to Brian's shop, I have been a couple times, and enjoy it every time I have been.

Lindsey and I are staying at the Sheraton right across the parking lot from the convention center. We'll be there most of the day Saturday and part of the day on Sunday. Hope to see you and Tweets there at the show.
