    Very neat :)

The contrast is pretty killer too. I think for these guys, LOW white, is going to look pretty darn sweet:gj:

Ok here is MY:2cent:. EVERYONE needs to calm down! Why is everyone going for throats? I love ball pythons just as much as the rest of you but people PLEASE. There is no need for such harshness toward each other. Take a deep breath and be patient!! There is no need to get so worked up over something this silly. If there arn't pictures, Deal with it! Its that simple. Now, if you really want to see a supercinny pied and no pictures exsist go BREED some! Its the only way you will know unless you wait. Attacking each other for each others Ideas and opinions just doesn't make sense. I love you all and I hate to see you guys fighting over whether or not a certain morph exsists.

    Did you know.......

That in the horse fanciers world, A Piebald is an animal that is ONLY black and white? If the animal is white with any other color it's called a Skewbald.....

Just a bit of trivia to brighten your day.....

Wondering who took the pics off my site and why?? If they bothered to READ - they would've seen that it's a ringer Super Cinnamon. The only one noted to have been produced to date.

Oh and BTW if you're going to take unsolicited photos off someone's site at least give the company credit. PYTHONICA produces full white Cinnamon ringers and Super Cinnamons. That's where the pic was taken from people.

Well let's see - we get emails from customers and friends suddenly informing us our pics are being used without any permission or indication where they came from and the post on it is totally misrepresenting what it is. You try producing high end animals, running a successful company and watch someone steal and bastardize what you've accomplished and BS about it.

    This isn't about sleep.

If people want to TALK balls here and I believe there are legitimate people wanting to get accurate info here - perhaps some of you need to develop some integrity. Maybe this is exactly why you don't see pics of new morphs right away or have reputed big name breeders conversing with you here.

    Hi,

We do ask people to credit any pictures ( it is in the T.O.S in fact ) and I appologise if we slipped up here.

I would be happy to remove the pictures if you wish - or perhaps you would care to PM any member of staff to resolve these problems?

No need to cause drama over a matter so easily resolved.

    Re: Super Cinny Piebald?
Not looking to create drama here. It's a fact - I have customers emailing us to check out a site we don't use (nor do we post on any forums - more for this reason really) because something rare we produced this year has been misrepresented and taken from our site without any notation of such.

Want to take our pics -fine. But it should be noted where they came from (or who produced it) and WHAT it is accurately. Not stolen and posted as something the poster knows VERY well it isn't.

Truthfully - we aren't sure whether to be flattered or pissed. But this isn't a good representation of people who legitimately want truth and accurate info on an industry they're passionate about. This is why new people find it sooo hard in this industry - because of people like the guy who stole and posted our pic.

Why not watermark, or copywrite your images? If you have a legit business, your copywrite will be legit, and make it illegal for anyone to misrepresent or steal your pictures...

    Re: Super Cinny Piebald?
I'd put a legal disclaimer on the bottom of your website. It would keep things civil, and light. You wouldn't need to ruin each picture with a copywrite...simply put something such as

    Quote:

No part of this website may be used, or reproduced without express written permission.

That would settle things evenly, and make things fair. Honestly...just sit down, and breath for a second. Things will get handled properly if you remain respectful and calm :)

Just to throw something else out there -- I don't know where Fireball found those pictures, but someone DID post these same pictures on the kingsnake forums recently for this same topic without mentioning where they were found. So it may be that Fireball didn't know where they came from to give proper credit.

    Good point there Mook......

I agree with Cera on that too.....I put a thing on my site, every page. I am sure no harm was meant there either.....he was excited to find a pic of a snake that was in discussion and wanted to share. I think maybe a little added line on that post stating where the snakes came from and what it is would be good here.

    Re: Super Cinny Piebald?
Just having the © 2008 Pythonica on the bottom of your page doesn't help much. There are many loopholes in the legal system, and there would be around that too. Better safe than sorry beb :)

Good point. I'm a friend of the Pythonica owner and I've offered to water mark all her photos for her so this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

I can see where the Pythonica employee that posted on here is coming from- they work hard to produce stuff that other companies don't (in this case- specializing in cinnamons and working to enhance that particular morph).

We've all got tons of photos on our harddrives with non-descript names. You see something online and click save as. I do it dozens of times every day. But- if you put the photos up online (and I'm not saying the original poster is the owner of the photo account that holds the picture taken from the Pythonica site!) you simply must quote your source!

I know the Pythonica employee that responded to this thread may have come off a bit strongly but please understand that they're really passionate about what they do and they're proud that all their hard work resulted in a some very, very unique snakes this year.

From personal experience I can say they're one of the highest quality and most competitively priced ball python breeders in all of Canada. The owner, Connie, provides customer service that's second to none. Email them and ask them about it if you don't believe me! I bought 3 snakes from her and received hours and hours and hours of valuable advice and insight into the ball python breeding business.

    Re: Super Cinny Piebald?
A little note about photo copyrights:

The moment a picture is taken it is copyrighted by the person who took it. You do not have to have a watermark or copyright notice on an image for that photo to be protected under copyright law.

If you use a photo that you did not take and do not have permission from the owner of that photo, you are breaking the law.

I am a professional photographer and have literally thousands of photo's in use by other people at this very moment. The moment I see a photo of mine or my company's in use by someone that I know does not have permission, I contact them and ask them to stop using it or to compensate me. If they do not agree to either, then a lawyer is called.

Having a watermark or the copyright symbol on an image just serves as a reminder and will deter some people from taking that photo.
I do not put any watermarks or copyright notices on my pictures because by law, I do not have to. Plus my images are distinct enough that I can spot one immediately.

    Re: Super Cinny Piebald?
Have you people not figured out that the picture in question is not in any way a Piebald?
It is a super cinny and happens that the line of cinnies often produces ringers.
And as has been said, unless you took the pic then you are responsible to respect the fact that it doesn't belong to you.
Keep your hands off other people's things unless you have permission. Or did your parents never teach you that?
