    Actually the parvovirus lives in the soil/ground for up to 7 yrs. NOT on people...
    I have a cousin with HIV/AIDS, he tested negative for 18 months, then was diagnosed with HIV, a week later with a T-Cell count, he had full blown AIDS. He has oil in his retinas due to a disease that eats the back and creates holes. He is one of the few percentage of the population who had his immune system kick back in.

    I understand the paranoia, and applaud any decision that ensures safety and wanting to be sure that nothing happens to a loved one or beloved pet. Or wanting to ensure the safety of an investment.

    Thank you all for the advice, the insight, and your thoughts.
    I only have one ball python, and all of my snakes are rescues.
    I hope only the best for any one who keeps snakes, and can pray and hope for the best for those who face challenges with sick animals.
