I work for a Medical office / warehouse. We make splits, molds, and prostectics for Dr offices and hospitals world wide here. I'm in charge of making sure all orders are sent out on time and if not because of back order on our supplies I'm on the phone with some not to nice of people. Sooo really Customer Service and other normal computer Office work pretty much.

Otherwise I'm a college student finishing up my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship. I would like to eventually own and operate my own business.

p/t Wildlife biologist with a private consulting firm. Also finishing out a Masters (the fun never stops) and working toward an even more overpriced education.

Due to my excessive nature ADD, I also fill in here and there as... A divemaster (mostly boat trips), mountain guide (backcountry Sierra), paddling guide (American and Kings rivers, as well as some creekin), bareboat deckhand and occasional TA for some of the field bio classes at the local college. It's a busy life, but my office is nice.......

I let them hold them and I teach them about the animals, and how the shouldn't kill snakes and lizards outside and what not. IK charge $20 an hour. I also baby sit for a couple of people. They always come home hammered at 2 in the morning and pay me a crap load of money. But I do babysit for the people like 7 hours a day a couple times a month. Sometimes even twice in a day!

I'm an Intel troop for one of the most highly respected intelligence field units in the AF, well the military for that matter. I get paid the same as some joe blow at McDonalds who wouldn't deal with a 12th of what I deal with on a daily basis. I get decent benefits, a bit better than when I worked at UPS, but at the end of the day when my crew and I are getting hammered at some unknown bar in some unknown city in Korea, I know my job keeps a war from stirring back up, and saves lives.

Got to say, a pay raise wouldn't hurt tho. :P

For the last 15 years (18 total w/the Company) I've worked in a high-tech fab. First manufacturing ASICs (computer chips) and then the printheads for the printer pens.

This past Wed. night I was notified I'm being laid off....so 9/19 I'm unemployed. :tears::mad: Mark H got a $24 MILLION bonus last year, and they can't pay us what they owe us...so that's going to make life interesting for a while.

I'm working with my sister to build clientel (sp?) for our bakery biz....
www.rulynsbakery.com. When my critters are the right size, I'm going to breed a litter or two for the pied and the albino balls, and the albino boas. If that works out, I'll get a het or albino retic to mate w/Ricky.

Trust me the whole industry is feeling it. I actually left my previous employer a week before they laid off 3/4 of the company. I quit with the intentions of returning to Atlanta so that I could continue my education at GA Tech but I've been here for almost 2 months and I'm just now getting somewhere in the job market.

I don't do anything nearly as interesting as corrupting children (unless you count my own) or living my dream of being a ball breeder. But what I do do, is I am an Office Manager for an exotics vet. Its pretty cool sometimes, but I would much rather be the person in the back working actually WITH the animals than dealing with paperwork and people, lol.

I'm a pediatric Radiographer. we are looking to move to Maryland in the next month or so, where both our occupational wage median is MUCH higher than in CT. I'm hoping to either stay with pediatrics, or get myself back in the ER or OR.

I also "co-manage", if you will, a new local band in the Annapolis, MD area. If you live around the area, or know someone who does, help a fellow bp.netter out LOL myspace.com/inflictionrock

Hopefully this will be my first "big" year with the bp breeding, as well.

Well I haven't been here in awhile, so this is a fitting thread for re-entry, given it's my job that's kept me away. Although my resume says Software Engineer, my job as of late has been telling other people what to do (the dreaded "Project Manager"). I work mostly in the financial sector, developing back-ends for online banking. Frankly, I hate my job, but it pays the bills and then some.

My BP.net name gives it away. I'm an ICU nurse. I don't know or work with any snake people, so I come here to be with folks who understand me

Actually, I love my job. On three, off four, saving lives...never have to worry about standing in the unemployment line...salary will help my snake collection grow (if I can convince my hubby I really NEED more snakes)!

i was in the networking field then decided to to go into computer repairs also. well i then became bored of my jobs and wanted something more along the lines of my wilder side so i got into doing automobile repossesions and i have been doing that for the last 4 years and i love it. it's intense at times but thats the beauty of doing it and the rush you get taking them out from under peoples windows. they park them there so they can hear you trying to pick it up. =)
