Could mom be one of them "Blurry" balls? I don't know much about them, but maybe? Are there any normals like her in the clutch?

Congrats Gin. Like I mentioned before it might get darker later, but I hope it isn't that and is a very light high white spider. Has to be one of the nicest spiders I have seen, and definitely a hold back. Surprises have been coming up alot this year in clutches. Way to go.

What a beautiful snake, Jen! I can't wait to see pics of it with it's more "normal" looking spider siblings and a few more once it's had a shed or two. Definitely something interesting going on there and a for sure holdback for you. :)

She's a cutie. Looks like my female Spider when I first got her. Now she's a light silvery yellow color with nice high white sides.

well... I agree with a previous poster... I think mom has something going, this normal is very nice.. it seems to have really "cleaned up" and "brightened" up the spider and by itself it looks very clean... try for a super, you never know what you'll hit! I love dinking, and I think this project is worth a bit of effort to, at the very least, see if something is going on...

Good luck and keep us posted!
    Bristen.

ps: that bright spider of yours almost looks like Ralph Davis' "Banana Bird Eating Spider" thing (not sure on the name, but I would be close)...

well, I'm sorry to say it does not really look like the banana bird eater... yours is more white, while the color on the banana bird eater is quite intense.. interesting to compare nevertheless...

    Regards,
    Bristen.

Re: what on earth is this?!
    That is nice!
The thing that's weird about my light spider.. is, the brownishness is low down on its sides. Where you see high-whiteness on some Spiders, it is brown. Then it is almost like the dark pattern stops abruptly and lightness goes along the spine and partway down the sides. Leave it to me to breed freaks!

I really don't think it's a different "morph", it just shows the awesome variability of these animals. It's a smokin' spider, and if it proves to reproduce those awesome light reduced spiders that would ROCK!
