Uhm. I'm still not sure when this Daytona thing is, but I know I made sime reservations, and Monica keeps telling me that she found someone to watch the kids. So, I'm going to have to say that we will be there. We should show up on Friday early evening, and leave Sunday night. I only have time for the weekend. Too much to do at work.

I usually go on sunday. I work most saturdays. As far as I know right now, I'll be there on sunday. I know, I miss all the cool things happening.

Im on the fence at best...I have reservations from Fri to Mon...I can't get either Fri or Mon off so I would only be going for an overnight trip....so thats mighty expensive for a one night trip......But now that that I hear Heather and Baker are out....it doesn't look good for me....

That's one reason I ask for the Daytona dates off in January! ;)

It helps that I also get 26 PTO days a year - a lot more flexibility.

its the reason I get up every morning and go to work. And then I tell everyone I know (in January) that Daytona is "right around the corner".....

fo' sure will be there. First timer at the Hilton too......:)

It's easy when you're laid off. My schedule's pretty much open. :D

I asked for them in Jan also....but I am in a Union (IBEW), so I work with guys that have been on the job before I was born...lol....they have like 40 yrs of senority on me! I get the scraps that are left over!

Any chance of me hiding behind him?

I tried to call the Hilton tonight (West Coast Time) and the desk that books the discounted rates is already closed. Does anyone know if the discount only applies to a certain type of room?

You should be able to get a regular room with either one king or 2 queen beds for the discounted rate.

ok...so Susan and I will not be able to make it to Daytona this year after all. :( Some family stuff is going on and I am unable to go so my pic (partna in crime) won't make it either. It really sucks and we are really bummed but it is what it is.
