"If" he threatened you, and you're a minor....yes, he can be looking at jail time, a fine, or a court appearance. A lot of that stuff is taken very seriously now a days, and for good reason...

Honestly though, I'd let this thread die out man. Whats said is said. They're not very bright, thats a given. That should be enough satisfaction to let it go. If you need to figure the rest of this out, PM me...

Well I was originally trying to have a civilized argument but he just started calling names and threatening me. So what ever. thanks guy. Won't happen again.

Python I am sure this guy has made many other such threats, and has had much much worse online confrontations. If he ran around offing or assaulting everyone that annoyed him online it would probably have been noticed by now.

But perhaps there is a lesson in all this, be careful what info you post online even if it is on other sites and you figure no one will link it to you (i.e. myspace info etc...with the same pix or nicks you use in other places).

Let it go hon. The net brings out the most extreme behavior in some people, but it is not worth worrying about. Trust me 5 years from now you will laugh about this guys extreme behavior.

Actually, with him being an administrator or moderator on that forum...even python registering or posting, the guy has access to his IP address. All he has to do is run it through a simple scan and viola....name of the person on the ISP's account for that specific IP, their address, etc. Its scary whats available online today ;)

What! Don't start making things up. An IP address shows up on ALL emails, in most chats, etc... An IP address will show what ISP a person uses but unless they can hack into the IP database and check the user records it shows NOTHING. I look up IP addresses all the time to see people's country or origin. My IP would show I use bellsouth.net, big deal, that means I am probably in Georgia or Florida, and that is all it would show.

Only experienced techies/hackers can bust into an ISP's database to get that info these days, and those people do NOT sit around threatening every teenager they argue with on an snake forum.

Don't scare the kid. That is very uncool.

bort is a tool. Not the nice shiny kind you take pride in owning and using either. He's more an outhouse hose. You may have seen them at a concert. It's a big ugly fat hose hooked up to a big ugly fat truck. The hose is jammed down into the outhouse or portapotty and the vacuum on the truck uses the hose to suck all the ummmm.....poop out of the holding tank.

bort is seriously fat. He would not be able to chase you down if you can manage a quick walk. He also claims, at least I think it was him, to have some sort of heart condition.

I would not be afraid of him at all but I would file a police report and also send whatever threats he's made to you to the admin of whatever site he's a mod on.

He's been fired from other sites for being such a turd but he's just a coward in a fatsuit.

I did I miss this thread, Kara and Kevin are very devoted to their animals, if anyone ever get the opportunity to speak to them even for just a few minutes they will understand how passionate they are.

Sadly because they are well known in this industry this mean they have to deal with haters and attacks from people that only wish they could achieve what they have achieved.

Sad really, but there will always be haters, drama and people looking for attention somehow.

It's pretty pathetic that someone had to start an "official anti-NERD thread", which...I must point out, got NO attention...

Sure, he's entitled to his opinion, no matter how stupid and thoughtless. And with that said, the last place we want that kind of silliness is here.

Pythontricker, He most likely knows what city you're in, based on your IP...I doubt he has anything other than that, and I doubt he will do anything but yap. However, If you feel the threat was sincere, you should probably do something about it. Get the screenshots and PM's with the threats and talk with your parents.

For now...this thread is just bait for the drama llama.
