I have 3 half logs glued end to end.
I started with 1 log, as she grew I just added on.
One end I covered with aspen bedding.
Then my BP doug a hole in the bedding, she seems to like both ends open.
She moves the half log by pushing up while inside.
She is big and quite strong.

You'll probably get a lot more attention and helpful answers if you do two things: One...start your own thread. Older threads are frequently overlooked. And Two...be more specific about your question. What sort of help do you need regarding branches and hides? :)

I have a log, no not the half one like a log that I found and cleaned and cleaned some more I made sure it wasnting anything posionis and my BP loves it. It has holes in it and it has bends and such that she craws right under and sits there I have another hide in ther but she just sits on top of it and plays with it mostly.

i use the little bowls made form like "paper" paper plate type things, one on top the other, but flipped over, so the hollow part is facing down nd the bottom one, the hollow part is torward the type if u r understanding this, i also painted them orange nd blue, and the other black nd rend.

Great ideas! The kitty litter pan is especially fantastic for larger snakes or a thicker BP! Our newest adopted snake will probably thicken up a bit and will no longer fit in his hide, so I may try the litter pan. Thanks again! :)

I use the same things similar to number one and two! I want to change them for my BP, but it seems like he loves them too much. I'll wait until he grows bigger to buy a one like #5. :)

Re: Hides, my way
I know this is an old thread but I wanted to throw in my $0.02, in case other newbies, like me, are browsing...
I got a tortilla warmer from WM for under $4, and it's great as a water dish, could be turned over for a hide. I just set the lid over, in case I loose the one for my actual tw for us humans.
For hides, I currently have baby wipe tubs turned over with openings cut into the sides. They are a little tall, but nice and narrow for "hugging."

I used a lot of the stuff shown here as my girl was growing. Another good option is Reptile Basics hides. They come in 4 sizes and work great although they are a bit more expensive.
