Official Quirks and Bugs Thread

before, when i went back to a thread, it would take me to the first unread reply... now it's taking me to the beginning everytime and i have to find where i left off... kind of annoying...

It used to be an automatic thing, but it's no longer automatic, but it's a feature that's still there.

In any thread that you go into, at the top of the thread is a link that says "View First Unread". Click that, and it till take you right to it :gj:

Is that a permanent new "feature"? It's really annoying.

I'll investigate and see if there's a way around this. Currently, it seems to be the default setting for the new version of Vbulletin.

I, too, have the same issue that Ladydragon has. Leave the site idle for even five minutes and when you get back and try to look at something you have to log back in again. I would really like to have this disabled for me as I like staying logged on throughout the day. And yes, I too have 'remember me' selected every time and it doesn't help.

I found a bug inside the gallery.

I was browsing the gallery this evening and saw my PM's flashing at me, so when I clicked my PM's, i was directed to www.ball-pythons.net/gallery/private.php...which obviously doesn't exist. should be forums/private.php

every now and then i open a thread and the 'view first unread' button doesn't show up???

Private Message Read Receipts.

I sent a PM to Robin yesterday (requesting a read receipt - which is automatic again) she responded but the tracking still says she hasn't read it yet?

Not a big issue but figured I would pass it on.

people have the option of canceling the read receipt.
