I got the one with the red tone and then another one other that looked similar. I think it was one that you looked at.

I need to take pics of everthing. I was up till 4am last night making sure that everyone was comfortably tucked away. sooo sleepy at work now. :rolleyes:

That's why I'm off today AND tomorrow - I knew I needed to do a lot of things and catch up on sleep as well - as well as play here! LOL

I still have rats enclosures to clean and snakes to clean. I was up until about 1 pm (but then we left at 4 in the afternoon to drive back, not quite as late as you, having to break down after the show).

Oh, and I have a snake to pick up this afternoon! :P

I think I actually enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to talk with you all face to face more then the actual show. So cool being with a group of people that can just talk about snakes and herps endlessly.

I'm eager to see Emily's new addition though. I'm not sure what that guys name was, but he is from Israel and is staying with NERD for 2 months. Tweets was saying he bought like 12 snakes or something crazy like that, would love to see pics of his new additions too...Man, 365 days is way to long to wait to do this again!

next year we should caravan down :)

I must admit that i'm disappointed with the number of pictures I took....I think I slacked because I saw 4 cameras going around the 8 ball dinner and knew someone else would cover it...so I just enjoyed my meal and my happy drinks :D

Great pics everyone. I am just getting in and am not even close to organizing pics yet. Don't worry Christie I don't have anything worth bribing you over(I think), if I do I will get your approval first(promise). I have lots of animals to tend too and also get my quarrantine cages set up for my new arrivals coming tomorrow and wed. I will get pics up as soon as I can. It was alot of fun meeting everyone and enjoying some quality time and conversation (not to mention a few cold ones). Adam's generousity was way above the call of duty and his kindness and friendship sincere. Hope everyone made it home safe and without too much liver damage. :rockon:

Anahiem show is in Sept. if anyone is ready for round 2 in Southern Cali!!!!!!

the set up I used was one of the many nifty features of Photoshop...took me a total of 5 minutes. :) much easier than uploading one at a time

Hey you could have hopped in my truck around Birmingham! I was NOT adding any more time to that trip. I am not made to drive long distances..... (even if SOME people can do 15 hours and stay up late :neener: ) I must be getting old or something.

i looked at mapquest's 7.something hour drive and i was thinking, gas stops food etc.. and said yeahhhh i'll wait til next year ha! i can drive for long periods of time well, its just the very first trip- if i vere off course i get into a psycho crazy OMG WE ARE LOST FOREVER type of.. mode.. buh!

I don't think I could ever stand the drive from way up here in Ohio to Daytona with Mike. He's one of those "you should have peed BEFORE we left the house and I'm not stopping now" type drivers! ACK!

Ansli the trip was definitely worth it! Maybe next year we can meet up and drive together, although that will add a lot more time to your trip. It was super easy to get there, and I get lost ALL the time. I have a deficient navigation gene. :rolleyes:

That was SOOO my trip to Daytona. Apparently I had more bathroom breaks than MeMe! Must have had something to do with all those bottles of water..... :oops:

I could not find the end of a road once.

The map looked pretty easy with minimal "turn left at .0067 miles past the 2nd green painted wal-mart" or some other insane thing.

My husband got directions once that included turn left at the dam store... I don't know if that will get edited, but it was a store right by the local dam. (in case that gets edited it was d@m - no cursing intended here!)

Jo, it wasnt that bad. whats 15 and 1/2 hours in a car on a longgggggggg road, when you know that road ends in daytona were you'll meet and talk to all the nice people on this site......well ALMOST all..:P

Wow....this thread shot up pretty fast!! I haven't gotten my pictures off my camera yet. I got in a 2:30ish Monday morning and had class at 8:30 *ick* But it was totally worth it!! I didn't get many pictures b/c I was following Daniel and Nate most of the time and figured between the two of them they would get better pictures than I did ^_^ It was awsome to meet everyone there, and I just wish I could have stayed later afterwards!!

Well...I made it home and I just wanna say to all of you who thought I would get lost or have to pee 145415 times....

I got to Daytona in 10 1/2 hours and made 2 bathroom breaks.

On the way home...I made it back in 9 1/2 hours. there was a bunch of construction so I got stuck in traffic for 40 minutes or I would have made it home in about 9 hours. and 1....bathroom break!!!

I really enjoyed Daytona and meeting so many cool people and learning ALOT!

I have a few pics but I have to download them and I will post them later.
