Wow, that must be amazing getting to see all those snakes. I'm happy each day just seeing Zim. But to get to see so many awsome animals like that. You are so lucky. And those dinner pictures are making me oh so hungry.

That axanthic killer bee is driving me crazy. If I got to hold one of those babies, I would die happy. :D

    Day 3

Today Ms. Kara is up early preparing blueberry pancakes to please our palate! I think she's going to have to take a vacation herself after we leave, she's on the go constantly spoiling us rotten. :)

We're having a cook-out this evening with other BP.netter's who are here locally and we can't wait to meet everyone. Ms. Kim (AzureNight) came up yesterday and spent the night - she is a DOLL!!!

Probably not many critter pictures today, but with permission of folks I take pictures of today, we may post some pictures of this evening's fun. I hear we're going to have a nice bonfire as well! And burgers - but you know they aren't going to be "just" burgers. I imagine these will be burgers I'll remember for years to come! It's truly been a culinary delight.

Miss you guys (but not TOO terribly, as we are just a "wee" bit distracted from the site :P)!

We had a nice cook-out this evening and Jen (FishMommy) was able to make it - it was a blast getting to see her. Kim (AzureNight) needed to leave before "dinner was served" but it was so much fun getting to spend time with her last night. It's ok though - because Hyde, the kitty ate her share of corn on the cob!

And a day 5 for me. Judy's leaving tomorrow, I'm leaving on Wednesday.

We've just finished cleaning all the mice - THAT'S a job that Kara normally does herself, I think I've just gotten even MORE respect for her after the hours spent in there today.

Despite the hard work - it was a lot of fun, but it really puts things into perspective.

This afternoon we plan to play more with the snakes, so be prepared for more pictures later this evening.

No dinner pictures this evening - we're havng Domino's and watermelon and Kara gets a well-deserved rest! :D

Ack it's 8 p.m. here, I haven't had a second to sit down and eat a thing all day and dinner's not yet ready! I think I just licked the screen and drooled over your dinner (but I'm NOT fighting the big toothy fella for his pizza!). Then I got to the snake pictures and well....kinda forgot about needing to eat. I cannot imagine the joy and honor it was, Robin and Judy, to hold those magnificient snakes. What an experience! Sounds like you both have also gotten a real "slice of life" for Kevin and Kara.

At this point I'm seriously bummed that Judy left today & that Robin bids us farewell tomorrow. It has been such a fabulous weekend of enjoying some awesome animals & fantastic company (and a few good eats) that I'm sad it's drawing to an end. Then again, it gives us all an opportunity to look forward to Robin & Judy's next visit, not to mention what will hatch between now and then. :D
