Not only am I planning on attending(although it might only be sunday) but I might actually have MONEY since I'm starting the new job tomorrow. If I don't freak out totally out of massive anxiety. I'll have to make a list of what I really want, and try to stick to it, since there are SOO many gorgeous snakes at Daytona... so many things that tempt me like baby blackthroat monitors, tegus, teeny frogs, gorgeously bizarre geckos, the brillant chameleons... oh yeah... I'm doomed. I will swear that I will stick to a budgetted amount, then I'll go to Micheal Cole's tables.... poof. Budget? What was that noise? The whimper from the pocketbook?

Dont feel left out. I live here in florida and Im trying to decide whether to buy my Mojave or go to the show. I might not be able to do neither,lol

Go to the show....seriously....how often do you get to meet fellow bp.net members and spend time with fellow reptile enthusiasts? Not very often. Surely you'll find great deals on that snake you want...probably at the show too. You can find a breeder, explain your financial situation and I bet you anything if you put a small deposit down, a good breeder will put *your* snake behind the counter and ship it to you when it's paid off....you've seen your snake in person, you've met a bunch of bp.net members, you've had the biggest damn crap legs you've ever had in your life at the 8 ball dinner...........that, to me, beats an $800 dollar mojave bill any day.

Im already looking for a room as we speak might just drive up there friday night and tend saturdays show and go home that evening or night. Probably with a Bp :rolleyes:

LoL! I'm staying in my apartment, cause I will be in Orlando, FL by then, 45 min drive and I'm there.

If alot of us from the board are going, we should meet up somewhere then head off to the expo, I personally would like to meet alot of ya. Or after one of the days meet up after the show and hang out and chill. Just an idea. I'm sure there are all kinds of places we could get all us together at.

I'm just stoked, I get in the car, drive 45 min, get out, look around. :rockon:

So ya, who would be up for meeting up and maybe getting a grp going?

There's usually a large gathering of Bp.Net members at the 8 Ball dinner on Saturday night ... 6pm in the lobby of the Marks' (Hilton) north tower. ;) :D

Oh and is it a bad thing to play breeders against each other at this show...like you tell them well that guy over there is selling an albino for $1000 so he sells it for $900. Is that something they look down upon?

I'm tell you man the Daytona EMT and transport teams can fit like 15 drunks in an ambiance. No need for a DD you get enough people to split the cost and its like a cab...only with meds... LOL

Or you could just get a room at the Hilton... ;) then there is no need to get a DD. :D

mricyfire, usually if you say something like that most will tell you to go buy from the other person. Then they tell you if you want the quality animal I have you'll pay my price. Unless they are desperate to make a sale because no one is buying from them. Another thing is sometimes two different vendors are selling each others animals. Gives them a better spread of potential sales.
