    Ok, I had a slight hint that I should candle my eggs.... well I did!! All 6 had nice looking veins. My girl did seem vaguely interested in food, but did not snatch it. I'm hoping she takes it overnight. :please: Anyway, I took a couple pics but they stink. It's hard to hold the camera and flashlight at the same time! If you look really hard you can actually see some veins. (squinting helps!) This was the best I could manage...

    Thanks Laura! I'm actually happy the pic came out as well as it did. It must be the new camera, because my other one would have been one big pink blur. :rolleyes;

    Congrats on the eggs! I can't wait to see little baby snakes! And I'm crossing my fingers for some pastels. I think pastels are beautiful.

    Thank you! I'm hoping for some pastels too. How awesome would it be to see a little pastel nose pipping out as my first hatchling?!?! :O :clap:

    Thank you Lisa. I know 58 days will be slow in coming, but it's so awesome to at least be able to see the eggs. I never thought eggs could be so beautiful, but they ROCK!

    I had thought they hardened up a bit (I was wrong), but they are very leathery. It's like a sturdy water balloon. I was terrified to touch and move them, but managed it with only a mild anxiety attack..... ;)

    Oh and I forgot to mention my girl did eat her first meal as well! She didn't snatch it up like I was expecting, but it was gone when I checked this morning. :w00t:

    Congrats on mom resuming eating. Some of mine will go a week or two without eating after they lay. My Pastel female went 10 days. I almost took her out and washed her for a second time just to make sure she couldn't smell the eggs anymore. Patience padi off, and she finally ate. Congrats again Christie, eggs are what it's all about.

    Thanks Tim. I don't think I would have made it, if she decided to wait 10 days to eat. :O I would have been reduced to begging and pleading. :rolleyes: It's a HUGE relief to know she has a good meal in her finally.
