Correct. I think you get a month free for buying the game, but after that you have to pay $15 a month.

Re: to all the gamers
Hehe---yes, I have a mic. Our guild used Ventrillo to communicate during Instances (I never got to raiding, and wasn't really interested in 40-man anything). My guildies were friends of friends, so it wasn't weird talking to them. It was fun--we even got together once for "Bad Moon Bar Night" (my idea :D--Our guild was "Bad Moon"), so I got to meet many of them in person.
I don't have the little extra keyboard. I guess it could be helpful, but I was okay with just downloading a skin so my play-screen worked the way I wanted it to :D
Edit: I don't know if "skin" is the right word...it's a little program that works with WoW... Maybe Vomitore knows what I mean--and the right word for it

I never used mods. I was always scared in case my account would be hacked. In fact I had to leave my guild since I refused to use GEM. I have a very nice and very rich lock that I'd hate to have deleted ect. I never used vent either since I don't want to hear people scream "KILL THAT! HEAL ME! PWNED!" ... I'd rather listen to tunes or movies. Just beware of one thing Matt. The grind to lev 70 can take a long time if you don't know what to do in missions. Thankfully my lock was grinded up with my friend who knew all the missions. He'd go from lev 1-60 in 2 weeks.

Re: to all the gamers
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All on the DS.
OBJECTION!
And on Saturday my boyfriend and I have a hot hot 6am date... to line up for a wii at Toys R Us... AGAIN... :I
I'm a recovering WoW Addict now, I had to stop playing cause it took up too much of my life! My character, Underpants, was awesome though, Tauren Druids rock!

I think if you download them from reputable websites, you're okay. I never had a problem with mine--and they were super handy.
Vent wasn't so bad, either. But then again, I never would have used it with people I wasn't friendly with. In our Vent groups it was more like: "Okay...Kim and Brian? I'm going to mark the one on the left with the purple symbol. You two go after him first. So-and-so, go after the Orange-symbol, the rest of us, on the yellow diamond. Ready? Go!" :) It was much more civilized than all that... Though I'm sure--100% sure--that many Vent experiences are like the one you described above.

Luckily I'm not addicted to WoW ... However when SWG was pre-cu ... WOW did I have a problem! Longest I ever played was 36 hours straight. When I first got it, I'd fly home and I had so much fun that literally hours felt like minutes. Id start playing at 6:30 p.m. then I'd look at the clock and be like "CRAP! It's 4 a.m.!!!"

I totally know how you feel but with WoW. I actually had to set the router to turn off my connection for awhile so that I'd do my schoolwork... oh boy. Glad those days are over. I played on my boyfriend's account a few days ago and it wasn't as fun anymore, so I'm safe from my addiction now!
I have more fun with my DS games anyway. Elite Beat Agents, Trauma Centre and Phoenix Wright are so much fun!

Re: to all the gamers
Well, I have an addiction too. I haven't seen anyone put it up here yet, but I'm on Runescape normally for an hour or two a day. I hate addicting games, it seems you can't ever put them down.

Re: to all the gamers
The only game I play anymore(well the p.c. broke so not anymore I guess) is Battle Field 2 on P.C.
I got into that headset and multiplayer stuff on BF2 and got hooked

Re: to all the gamers
I used Vent as well on WoW....it cracked me up the first couple of times I got on there thought. Apperntly there was only one other girl in my guild and noone knew who I was. :P I got to know them pretty well through the game, but it never came up that I wasn't a guy. The reactions to that are the best! :weirdface :imslow: haha I don't get to play while I'm at school...I forget about the whole homework thing when I do ^_^

Re: to all the gamers
Last game I played was Star Wars Battlefront I for Mac. Man I wish they'd release SWBF2 for Mac!
