Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?
lol maybe I'll just have to try it for myself. :P I guess it'd be kinda like eating a rat. lol not that I've done that.
Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?
Yup; I come from a long line of hunters. My dad and uncles hunted every year when I was growing up, and though we lived in the city, it was commonplace to see Dad driving into the drive with some dead deer or turkey onboard the truck. We would goout to his rod-and-gun-club cabin every weekend, and me and my friends loved it because it meant an escape from the boring doldrums of our neighborhood. The worst times of my young life, were when we had to go home every Sunday night!
So a few years ago, when I met my now-fiancee, we decided to move out to the country, and we are now renting a farmhouse/barn. Lots of land for hunting.. I seriously plan on getting my hunting license for this November, because I found out that you can hunt deer with pistol, and I am getting my permit for that, and well large rifles have wayof sending me backwards 10 feet when I shoot them.. :)

LMAO! Well i will tell you another thing is watch the hair from the squirrel as it sticks to the meat like glue when you clean it.I would clean it under water and the hair would still find a way to stick to the meat lol.O the shots from your gun have a tendency to chip teeth when you take a bite of the meat lol.

Haha.. well if I go hunting it'll be either with a hawk or a bow. Though I do like guns too.. I'm planning on buying a Glock 19 for myself.

Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?
Giniveive: try shooting a 30-30......they aren't bad as far as recoil. Take it from a petite girl! lol. Thats what I use when I go hunting for whitetail.
I love hunting..I think it's the wolf in me :lick:
Fishing is fun too.. My fiance and I do both together. I love it when we go trout fishing, then build a fire and cook them with a little butter and salt (wrapped in tin foil over the fire)...yummmmmmmm. Easy too. He usually guts them even though I offer...he rocks!
Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?
Oh that sounds good.. Trout is one of the tastiest freshwater fish, but I've never caught one so I've never had one that fresh. Have to fix that sometime. :)

Huge bass! What a lunker!
Here's a Florida Largemouth that I caught last spring...This was after a few beers LOL...Hence the f'd up expression on my face. It was also rather hot out. This is the largest that I've caught and actually taken a picture of. I've caught bigger...but I never think to take a picture or have a camera. Gotta love Florida fishing tho!. :D

Edit: R.I.P. the abu garcia rod that I caught that fish on... It was crushed by my massive kicker 18" subwoofer box on the way home :(

All I have are 20 year old pics from when I was growing up in FLA...all the other fishing pics I USED to have were on a computer that died and I lost them all...
I sometimes think it's a curse to bring a camera on a fishing trip...I almost always have better luck when I forget to bring one...

River Bass are the best. Although I love me some Steelhead as well (most of you would call it Rainbow Trout).
I have the benefit of living in hunting and fishing territory, not many folks who DON'T hunt and fish around here.
