Hope everyone else is hangover free!!:carrot:

My Fiance and her mother both encounter those problems when/if they drink at all! And it never gets better no matter how old you are. Feel lucky... in your life you will never be a heavy drinker and probably not ever a drinker.

I went to a friend's house for a party and spent the night. I had a homebrew beer (his dad makes it) and a glass of champagne. I wasn't going to push it, I've been sick enough lately, I don't need to give myself a hangover :P

kids will be kids....purely for the thrill of breaking laws and seeing if they can get away with it...(i know..i've been there...we all have right?)

I was watching this series called Beach Patrol...these cops busted these 16 year old's having a beach party..they were so drunk, laughing and having a good ol' time. they called their mommy and daddy and informed them that their little angels were pretty drunk...and then informed them that they have lost their license till they're 21 years old....it went from laughing to crying in an instant.

Alcohol makes your blood thin, you bleed more and the ink won't stay as well. Usually, around here anyway, you have to sign a waiver saying you aren't U.T.I. or on any drugs (even asprin sometimes, because it also thins your blood) before you get any ink.

Druthers? Teetotaller? Oh my. :giggle:

I don't really enjoy being drunk either. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no tolerance for alcohol. (so I go from sober to toast in 2 drinks ;) ) I get a bit dizzy just from smelling the stuff. ;) I also do NOT like beer. I'm a girlie drinks kinda girl, all the way. I love amaretto sours and mudslides, but I never have them more than once or twice a year.

I had glass of Dr.P, alot of water(I love water), and a Orange fanta! I had alot of finger food. My parents and friends didn't even drink. But if my dads "other" frinds came they would have had a few beers. I have never seen my dad drunk, but my mom does go alittle over board with the margaritas at my aunts house. Even though our food cabnets have some sort of alcholic drink no body drinks it!

The legality of underage drinking isn't as cut and dried as some here seem to think.
I know that in Texas, it's legal for a parent or guardian to serve their charge(s) all the alcohol they want. It's a pretty specifically defined law, too, going so far as to state that if the parent or guardian leaves the table for any reason, they must give the child's drink back to the bartender to hold until their return to the table. And no one other than the parent can hand the drink to the child.
I don't know how many other states have that going on, though.

Blue Moon is yummy...it's a white ale, belgian style. Somewhat sweet, smooth finish. Drink it with a slice of an orange or lemon...delicious!

Not really a drinker here, had to many examples in my family of how it can screw up lives growing up. About the most I allow myself is a fruity cooler or something of that nature (ya "girley" drinks). My wife got us an apple flavored Mike's which was pretty good. Sad thing is I had 3 to drink and I there was a very short moment in between that I did get a little buzzy, didn't last long.

We spent the evening and most of the weekend's evenings staying up a late watching movies and playing computer games. My best friend is home from going back to college for another degree so it was pretty fun.

it's really like no other, it's a belgen wheat, with a orange taste to it, when you order it a a bar or resturaunt they put a orange slice in it( i no the man law " THERE WILL BE NO PUTTING FRUIT IN BEER") put its damn good. its really good without the slice of orange too. if your use to bud lite miller and all the other everyday beers, you'll love this is totally diff.

Bummer that this turned into an underage drinking debate thread...I drank in high school, did a lot of dumb things, and am still amazed to this day that I came out in one piece...but hey, high school kids already know everything there is to know about life, right? ;)

Well I guess I'll chime in here. So I'm the son of a Southern Baptist Preacher ;) . I have tats and snakes. I like my Jamician rum neat and my Patrón Añejo with out training wheels. My cigars from Rocky Patel or Victor Pardomo. The last time I got hammered was in Millwaukee, WI with family at this pub called the "happy tap". I drank 9 pony Miller lights, 5 shots of Jose' (no training wheels), and 2 tripple captin and cokes. In an hour and a half....:carouse: then :pee: then :puke2: then :sleepy: then:sick: .

Tequilla with no training wheels means straight with no salt or lemon/lime.
