Play with your camera and see if there are any flash settings. My old camera had an option where you could change it from low, normal, and high. I almost always used it on low, but even then it could be very bright. At those times I would try physically blocking some of the flash by just covering some of it with my finger as I took the picture.

Another thing you can do is try to find a very lighted area in your house... for me it was the bathroom with new bulbs installed. Then I tried some photos with no flash at all. Yellow bulbs will exaggerate all the yellows in your snake, though. If you have a strip light for an aquarium that could work for supplemental indoor lighting. Get someone to hold the strip over or in front of your snake (behind you while taking the picture), and try it without the flash or partly covering the flash.

There's also setting it by the window on a sunny day.

    :P

I can't help it I still think their little faces look like the disney character Goofy

"A fine, noble, beautifull example of lean predatory intent.... Anderson stop laughing it does NOT look like Goofy... no it does NOT have buck teeth as I will let it prove if you do not stop insulting it. Collins have you been letting anderson lick the toads again?... well take him to the nurse there's a good chap"

There are some simple box style light setups for photography. I've been thinking about buying one of those. I keep washing out my albino leo babies with the flash

For the flash issue if you have an SLR camera digital or film you can purchase a marco flash ring. If you use this instead of the traditional flash your pics should not have a yellow hue from the incadesent inside lights and those beautiful babies will not look washed out. :D

    As was I Ed :)

The shape of a BP's head is one of the first things I look at, if I dont like the shape of the head, I dont like the snake ;) I love the short, fat muscular ones that remind me of a Chondro...

Again, nice ones Ed ;) you've become quite the photographer as of late :)

I also have noticed; many BPs have various different head shapes.. my one girl's head is long and she has a pointier nose.. then there's my big female, who's got a thick bull-neck going on with a chubby face.. inta-westing!
