I vote for fries with cheddar cheese grated on top - or mayonaise if I've been drinking.Or failing either of those a butty with cheese and strawberry jam - I was raised on those.

    Settle petal it's nothing rude.

A "butty" is two thick slices of bread with lashings of butter **drools gently onto his keyboard**

Best use is for thick fries (we call them chips over here to add to the confusion) with lashings of tomato ketchup, or bacon of course.... It's no good I can't take it any more **wanders off in search of a kitchen**

we call them chips here in canada as well :)

so is it homemade bread? cause that sounds goooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

(who thought you were being rude?)

    Heh heh,

The rudeness may be in my own mind  - I need to join the moonies for a swift brainwash as it's filthy in here.

warm home made bread would make the super butty:cool:

The frier is heating as we speak - as god is my witness I shall have a chip butty before the clock strikes or there will be ramifications.

Now where is everyone with all the juicy gossip for me to read as i lick my fingers?

I'm glad to see MKR's crap finally end. This MKR era was tearing the herp world apart peice by peice. But now since the storm has passed by, we can all be peaceful and not have a new thread everyday about it ;)It's funny really.

Fries with chedder cheese and/or mayonaise.......that is missing something.....GRAVY. Throw some thick gravy on those 'chips' and you will have a feast on the beast known as 'gravy fries' :D

Oh Del you make me miss my scottish granny who raised me....mmmmmm bread, lots of thick butter, sharp cheese and a good strawberry jam.....yum! Tattie scones, bit of well cooked blood sausage (it's good for you child so eat it, it builds the blood up) and the best steak and sausage on mashed you've ever had (granny didn't go for the steak and kidney so we always had steak and sausage instead) *drooooooooool*

Oh and Aleesha, when I moved to the states and asked for vinegar for my fries...the waitress actually had to dig for it in the back kitchen. Apparently they only used it for cleaning! Heavens! Course these are the same folks that invented lumpy, overly thick white goop and called it "gravy" LOL (gravy is brown, it has no lumps, it's served with the sunday roast, yorkshire pudding and two veg :P )

Throw some of that gravy with some fries and watch the magic happen :) Thin brown gravy and fries kicks it.....thick brown gravy and fries kicks it :D

There are many levels of gravy in the south....more different gravies than you can count on your fingers.....that is just how we roll ;)

All this gravy talk really makes me want some white sausage gravy with biscuits :D

I'm amazed even up here in the north (Ohio) that there are so many gravies in most restaurants.....white sausage gravy, brown beef gravy, lighter brown pork or chicken gravy, red gravy (I think that one is tomato based) just to name a few I've seen here on menus. I recently broke down and learned to make proper sausage gravy for Mike (though I still have to use those biscuits in a tube thing). Apparently buying premade sausage gravy in a can makes my southern friends weep and gnash their teeth!

Oh and actually on topic, I know so little about this whole MKR mess other than to think....karma works! Sorry to see anyone in a mess though but some folks are the authors of their own misfortunes on occasion.
