Poor Nathan :( Dont worry Brian is afraid of our snakes....although he doesnt call it scared he calls it smart..... "I'm not reaching my hand in there..not because I'm scared...but because I'm smart!"
So I end up with all the bites and fun times. He has already said when they breed I have to remove the females from the eggs. He'll also stands back and say things like "Just grab her" "Get it over with" yet hasnt actually reached in and grabbed one yet..hmmm....

    Better luck next time :)

This wouldn't be quite so funny to me if earlier this week I hadn't had to do the same thing...except it was an Irian Jaya Carpet Python that slithered in there, while the ball python tub was still in. I had put him on top of the rack while I was doing a quick clean of his tub.

Lucky for me, I have a couple of snake hooks. :sabduel: He wasn't too upset about coming out of there, after I pulled the ball python tub out (with ball python in tub) My boaphile rack is too long for me to even attempt reaching in there and pulling him out with my hands.

At least you guys got her out without a problem :sweeet:

    Quoteing Nate in another thread

On the rack I got from HerpEnclosures, it came with some lock pins to keep the tubs secured inside the rack....

Do they really serve that much of a purpose? How in the world could a snake scoot its tub out of the rack enclosure???

I guess he got his question answered.

    Where them pins at Nate?

Ureeka!!!!! Someone with innovation. I can vouch for that one. The very 1st time I brought my bp home she got out . I know, wait 2weeks b4 handling but she decided to strech out on the sofa and watch pinky and the brain. She put on her bowtie, I threw a towel and i convinced myself she wouldn't hurt me through the towel.
