Another bad part of voice chat is some people have the wrong setup for voice chat. So, you might get someone who's setup will feedback. And trust me, if you have headphones on, or using normal monitor speakers, you'll go to bed deaf haha. Also, if someone is sleeping in your house, becareful of being yelled for making too much noise!

I can, however, understand the reasoning for keeping things closed to BP.Net.

Of course I don't think you're being meddlesome...I was just trying to point out the reason behind our chat program. If any member wants to try and set up an evening of voice chat on yahoo or vent or whatever....they should feel free. Just like inviting friends over for tea. :)

Hehe - after overindulging in the szechuan buffet I had to make a detour on the way back (to work ugh) and pick up some yerba mate tea.

    I needs a kick!

Of course you can always look for folks IM stuffs in their profile - mine's there for AIM and Y! and it gets good regular use (hahhaa).

I wouldnt mind doing a voice chat but it would bring our server to its knees if we hosted it and would not have any userID integration. I know how anxious you are to hear my babble vox'd in real-time though :P
