Our First BP and First Snake Ever was named Monty (sadly, we thought it original).

Our Second BP and our *5th* snake was born on 05/05/2005, aka. Cinco de Mayo. She's a female and we named her Maya - feminine-ish form of mayo.

The first BP is lucky, we were **this** close to naming him Spam (again with the Monty Python Thing).

We started w/Baby and Snoopy (RIP), but right now our normal male baby at 400+g < Yaaaaaay > is named Pissy Snake. Even tho' he gets handled regularly and we've had him since Nov. he STILL has an attitude problem and will actually take after U thru the glass.

Kishnah is a name that FD Robin made up, and Wrigley, well.....he was. I'm making arrangements to buy a female pastel RTB, & her name is going to be Pinky Tuscadero. :D :D Heee heee heee

The next herp show is just a few weeks away....and I'm going to do some serious shopping for a Hogg Island boa and a het for pied, if I can find a nice one for our next babies. And yeah, it's a "groaner" but I've already decided to name my HIB "Harley". :lmao:

Data's more of a bird's name I think. It's the head movements/expressions. ;) Next pair of doves I get are so getting named Data and Pol now, lol!

Mine are in my sign.....but I have had some others in the past (Cooper,Shade,Cyrax)...and I know this might seem weird, but whenever I'm sure I'll be purchasing one or more new snakes, I actually start picking names BEFORE I get them!! I'm goin' to a show on Sat. to pick up a few more females, and these are the names I'll be choosing from:Kundalini,Cyrine,Enya,Aura,Shiva, Medusa, Nirvana, and Celine. I don't like to give my animals "average and common" names....and I especially think naming snakes thiings such as "Fluffy" is like putting a curse on them!!!

Yeah me either! Naming them is so much fun.. especially when you find a name that just 'clicks'.

My next female anaconda will be Nagini. Can't think of a name for my male annie that I'm picking up in a few weeks though. Hmm..

would that be a green an or a yellow????? LOL Nagini is also on my list, as I am a BIG Harry Potter fan.

Granite yellow anaconda. The new male will be my third.

I also like HP names. My dumerils is Bellatrix, and my granite burm is Harry. Actually.. my kenyan sand boas are Fred and George. :)

My BP's name is Shiri. (means "Song" in Hebrew)
I was in Israel in Septmeber and I met a little girl who was sooooo adorable and her name was Shiri and I guess it means Song!
So when I got home a bought a BP and named it after her!

I miss Israel a LOT, and I'm not Jewish.... so if you ever get a chance! GO!

When I was getting a bp my mom was saying how much she hates snakes. I said you can't hate raymond....why? (lol quite corny) Because Everybody loves Raymond:-P Hence the name raymond

Our baby is named Dax. We are big science fiction fans, and Dax is a trill on Deep Space Nine. The trill are a joined species, a humaniod host and a slug symbiont. The joined being then takes the first name of the host and the name of the symbiont and that is the name. The symbiont looks a little like a snake.....

IMO, naming a snake something like Fluffy,Cupcake,or Princess is like cursing it....just despise names like that. I usually like to name my snakes "neat" or "unique" or "uncommon" names that I usually pull from various souces such as video games,and fantasy/sci-fi flicks and shows such as battlebots. Mine are in my sig, but I'll tell ya why they got their names....

I named mine Stewie because of family guy. My cousin said that te snake looked cute and all but he was sure it was evil. I immediately thought of the cute but trully evil Stewie. Hence, STewie was born!

I have this thing with naming my pets, i think someone else should pick the name, for my bp my sister picked Kamaria, its an african name meaning like the moon, i guess she figured with the whole, bps native to africa and being nocturnal!

Mine is named "Halen", after Van Halen.

Mine is Nagaina which was the female cobra in the kids story -- Rikki Tikki Tavi. The cobras were the bad guys but I still like the name and Naga in Sanskrit means snake so just seem to fit for my girl. I think she likes it....

I habe Beauty, Starshine, and currently unnamed girl 2........lol any thoughts would be great for her as I am stumped. But she is a big girl and enjoys her new home with me..........lol

We've got Pissy Snake, Freddie the Rescue (orig. Fred until the sex change determination), and now Precious the baby and Zeus (newly named). One of these days we're eventually going to get a Naag, Naagina, Kaa but FD and I haven't decided it they'll be BPs or some other species. :D

I have a 3 foot ball python he was previously named dude and i have kept it he has his own space even rocks that tell ya when and when not to touch him homade of course it sayd on the norm . . . Dudes Den and when he is busy Dudes Diner just a cute way if you have kids like i do to let them know when and when not to touch your baby (snake) =) sorry he is like one of my kids love him to death

Haha, you can have it too, as long as you don't live like across the street from me or something. :) Someone else has on here has Isis as well (although I recieved her from her parents with that name)
