Bad hygiene.
The smell of cigarette smoke.
Indecisive individuals in lines. i.e. Starbucks, restaurants, and/or bars.

Judgmental/racist people (I hate that still exist).

Re: What Grinds Your Gears??
I don´t like hypocritical people. People who criticize me on something, and I take criticism very well so I usually implement it into said thing (unless its ridiculous) and then THERE THEY ARE doing the EXACT THING that they criticized me on.
Another thing to do with criticism is I hate when people sugarcoat stuff. PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT! If I asked for criticism, I´m not going to be offended by your knowledge, if I did something stupid, tell me so I can stop doing that stupid thing. People who sugarcoat things just make it more confusing...

What a GREAT LIST! :gj:
And speaking of unnecessary perfumes (the use of which dates back to when people hardly bathed so as to cover up their stink, lol...seriously, just take a shower!) I also hate being outside among all the green & flowering things in my garden & suddenly the scent of someones dryer sheets wafts over...gag! I can hardly walk my dogs around a few blocks without smelling someones dryer sheets...wt? It's time they were unscented.

I can honestly take the dryer sheets over masked musk smell or the over use of body sprays. "A little goes a long way" if you take the steps to wash the stank of your body. I am big dude and sweat easily as I can't stand to be hot, but you can only smell my cologne. And I am talking about 6pm in the afternoon after I have put on around 7am that morning. Just wash your a**! It is so simple.
Don't hate me, but I love the smell of dryer sheets as long as they are part of some clean laundry.

Bahahahaha!!
Anything artificially scented or flavored... I mean it smells good, and the flavors taste good, but honestly they should just call that ¨Cherry¨ flavor ¨Red¨ flavor because it tastes nothing like cherries. And just what is a blue raspberry?

Another good one!
I especially object to the ones off-leash when they're supposed to be ON-leashes. I'm walking my 2 older dogs on leashes & ppl think it's OK if their loose unruly dogs run up tomine? :colbert: Really!? My smaller dog is a male terrier that wants to fight all other dogs. My bigger dog is a female but 15 years old & a bad leg...we don't need loose dogs.

I already posted this in the Coronavirus thread but since that resides in "Quarantine", I wanted to make sure everyone saw this, so you can make an informed decision about whether or not to spend the "stimulus check" you get (whether for food & rent, or if you're fortunate, on non-essentials) or save it, because it's actually a loan that comes out of next year's tax refund.:taz::mad:

Yep—The stimulus checks are an advance on your 2020 tax returns. The $1200 single or $2400 married filing jointly will come out of your 2020 refund.People all around the US are excited to get paid with a little bit of the money that they paid to the federal govt already. https://t.co/6sxbiNjW5r 6:07 PM - 4 Apr 2020

Calling the South American country Colombia "Columbia".
When new people come here in desperate need of help and then they get defensive, saying they DID researched before buying. When clearly everything they have done to the poor snake shows that they did everything But do a research.

Aghhh !!
Just fast forwarded through This Morning ( daily tv program in the uk )
to where they gave a decent amount of time to a PETA representative Karis
Bennett who said that as well as closing China’s wet markets we should be regulating the exotic pet trade in England where amongst everything else there are 300,000 snakes being kept ... totally unregulated ..
They gave out details of a petition the program’s viewers SHOULD sign :(

So have you called or emailed the program & voiced your objections? Get on it! Tell them they should present the flip side & remind them that the experts believe coronavirus came from bats & pangolins, not snakes, & that they were & still ARE 'victims' in these wildlife markets & exotic pet trade. :rolleye2: But be nice...;) or they won't listen...people including PETA love to blame snakes.
And remind them that PETA is against keeping ALL pets, even the dogs you (we) all love so much! So if you let them get started on snakes, your cats or dogs may be next. Make some NOISE...

They sure do. I think we have all seen that one article they wrote about snakes...
Anyway, I am not attacking PETA, I just think they do not care about animals as much as they say they do, and some of the claims they make are ridiculous.
On a different note, I hate it when I get up to do something and immediately forget what I was doing.

I'm a music junkie, but unfortunately not a musical bone in my body. I can't even play a kazoo, hahaha. I can only imagine your frustration, my gears are grinding for you!!!
I know for me, listening to tunes can be very therapeutic. I imagine playing does that for you. Ugggh, sorry man.

People who buy animals they don't know how/or are unable to take care of. New pet owners still learning or making common mistakes do not count. That is just a part of pet ownership... everyone's gotta learn at some point.
I'm talking about the people who go into the pet store for dog food and walk out with a sugar glider because it was "soooo cute".
Also people who drive slow in the passing lane, people who don't signal, and people who breathe very loudly through their nose while they eat (??? something about it drives me crazy).

While I'm firmly in the 'research something to death before you commit" camp, getting there is half the fun as far as some things go. Keeping animals is not one of them. lol Some of these people don't have a chance once they start reading facebook advice.

I have very mixed feelings about PETA...while I agree with some of the issues they raise, they go way too far; I've read about (but not personally
verified) instances where they have "rescued" animals, but then failed to care for them any better...even to the point of letting them die. They also
don't seem to think anyone should have ANY kind of pets...:rolleye2:
Now about forgetting what you were intending to do, I do that a lot...my house is full of distractions, but anyway, just wait until you get older!

"Rescue" animals are def a grinding gear subject. It seems so often that rescue means free to a lot of people and when you are broke and "rescue" an animal and have to start a gofundme to pay for the medical care it needs, I hardly call that rescuing. I got crucified on Facebook a while back when someone posted a picture of a boa she rescued. It was in her bathtub crawling on one of those racks you keep your shower stuff on. The snake was crawling on soap, shampoo bottles, sponges, there was a freaking razor there as well. I pointed out that maybe this wasn't the safest place for a snake she said was practically dead a week before. I was very surprised when some well known boa people on FB came to her rescue. Pretty sad...

It's also not "rescuing" if you pay full retail to a big box store for a critter in bad shape.

They lost me when it turned out they were "rescuing" animals from people in tough places then flat out killing them in the van and dumping them in dumpsters on the way back to their "shelter"
Have a good look at the amount they "rescue" - the number they "rehome" and try and guess which freezer or dumpster the overwhelming difference ended up in. Check out the prosecutions if you do not believe me.

That's just it, I DO believe you. I read & heard similar things, but it's been a while now. They seem to think animals are better dead than "owned", they're crazy & warped!

I wonder why reptiles live so much longer in captivity compared to their wild counterparts... Must be because of all the evil reptile owners.

I actually just saw a video of the new Tesla cars that actually have a 'pet feature'! you turn on the feature, turn off the car, it leaves the air conditioning/heat on for whatever temperature you set it at, and it puts a notice on the screen in the front seat explaining that as well as showing the temperature INSIDE the car.
I think more cars should actually have it!

Re: What Grinds Your Gears??
People who don't understand that animals feel pain.
example from this week - cat brought to vet for shots only, ask the owner if anything was different at home, "nope, he's been fine, eating and drinking normally". Pull out the cat and its leg is all sorts of wrong..."oh yeah, he's been limping for a week, but he's still eating and not crying out, so I guess he's not in pain" says the owner ... "Sir, this leg is broken!" and they were surprised :rage:
on a lighter note, people who take absolutely forever to order food at a kiosk like it is a life-altering decision

This is why I avoid private fundraisers and thoroughly vet who receives my charity cash. There are way too many scammers profiting from other people's misfortune.

Wish I had this feature in my Ram truck. The remote start only last for 15 minuets.
