Help, possible PAM poisoning!

hmm very interesting! when was Pretzel's last feeding and what did he eat? i hope it all goes well from w/ the rest of digestion.

it's up to u if u wanna switch substrate. your mulch is already treated. me - i would switch to clean, treat white paper towel just so i can monitor any mite developments.

I would switch it out and use paper until the mites have been eradicated. Mulch and bark type substrates have too many places for mite eggs to hide even when treated.

he ate 2 weeks ago(small rat), but the vet said they can take up to 4 weeks to fully digest! i will def take out the mulch and put down some paper towels. glad that this isn’t something severe as i had originally thought

I couldn't be happier that it's nothing serious, & I was going to say that I would always wait to feed a snake that needs mite treatment, but I would not have expected
that a meal he had 2 weeks ago could have manifested quite this way. But this is why it helps to share these things on a forum...there's always more to learn.
