Thanks pal, I did adjust the contrast and shadows ect but made for a nice shot... He was posing in a nice position so grabbed the phone and took it inside the Viv, a little risky with a retic on feed day but he behaved and is still small enough eek.

Cheers pal, the new fogger has made him very happy I think, scales look immaculate and he seems to be holding his colours.
He would eat every day but I only feed him once a week a 50g weaner rat, about his body diameter.
He is still growing well, almost doubled in weight since November.
Had him out for a photo session just now....
He is such a cool boy.

Can't wait to get some outside pics, too cold here for a few months yet. Can really see his iridescence in some of those which is nice, chair made a nice photo prop on the table, it's a shame it's almost his colour tho... Wonder if the missus would notice if I painted one white:-)
Starting look like a bigger snake now, puppy/noodle stage is disappearing fast haha!

High Percentage Kalatoas can easily stay under 10ft. Especially a male.

Yeah I know, all comes down to his true genetics I guess..
He went from breeder to store to me.
In 3 months he has doubled in size from 280g-580gish, apparently hes cb17, if he is actually cb18 I'd say he is well within mainland-dwarf territory, at that rate in 9 months he could be circa 5kg and 9-10ft no?

Thanks rich. His nose is slowly healing. He had a few nasty wounds when I got him back in November. First year of his life in a small tub had him pushing slot.
Bless him. Should all heal up eventually... Hopefully.

Thanks pal, he is my baby, so well behaved to, I can rub under his chin. Just reach in and pick him up when it's not approaching feed day, just to be safe.
Retics are so alert, when I clean his front glass he comes straight over. I don't think I could have picked a better snake to keep now I only have one. The humidifier is ground breaking for him too, he is perfect physically and in attitude:-)

He had his first full shed yesterday, well one tiny bit over his eye that peeled straight off. So much better than 7million pieces and a 20min soak.
    Happy snake happy owner:-)

Yeah it seems to be a real issue with alot of retics.
Fogger is doing its job, in my humble experience it's almost a necessity with snakes that need a higher humidity or have trouble shedding imo. It's very easy to get a pretty much constant humidity.
