I just heard TellTale games is done, meaning no more Walking Dead series, they might release chapter 2 though.
That's a shame, they were a cool company with some new ideas. I got to play test for the first season of TWD, really nice group of developers.
Ahhhhhhhh, don't get me started on that XD I'm both sad and disappointed because that was one of my most favorite games/gaming companies. They really were picking themselves up with season 4, and they also had the wolf among us 2 coming out soon. It's just saddening to see such good games come to nothing.

I never played Detroit. But from what I have seen, it looks really confusing. There are so many characters and I don't know who the main one is XD The graphics look amazing though

You play as 3 main characters, each story is told separately in the same world and they may or may not converge at the end depending on your choices. It's quite well done!

TWD is SO GOOOOD I cried like a baby.
DBH is a great work about where our society is going and the complexity of humanity; very good brain food imo!!

If you like Human Fall Flat, I think you'd like Gang Beasts!

That actually sounds pretty darn cool! I did like the controls and graphics from pieces of gameplays I've seen. I'll probably check it out after I purchase a game I've been saving up for:)

Nier Automata is absolutely fantastic and I can't believe I forgot to mention it. The soundtrack for it is incredible!

2017 in February! It's a more niche game so a lot of people didn't hear about it which is a shame because it's very artfully done. I highly recommend it if you like deep-story driven action games!

Believe it or not, I actually do like those sorts of games! I'll look into it, thanks for the recommendation:D

The older I get the less time and resources I have to devote to gaming. Right now I pretty much play one of two games at at given time:
World of Warcraft and Minecraft.
I used to love the Halo series and have a great love for Master Chief but that series has gone downhill since Reach.
In college I enjoyed Tekken, Dynasty Warriors, and Final Fantasy game.
My childhood is Pacman, Donkey Kong, Super Mario, and Zelda.
At various other points I enjoyed DDR, Katamari Damashi and the Guitar Hero franchise.

I play World of Warcraft, I love 7 Days to Die and all the various mods that go along with it. Hunter: Call of the Wild, Doom, Monster Hunter World, Dying Light, Osiris: New Dawn, The Forest, Heroes of the Storm. I just kinda bounce around. 7D2D is def my favorite though. Love survival/crafting. 922 hours into it. Though I'm not happy about the next patch they're putting out. Questionable changes.
When I was younger I played a ton of JRPGs, still have them. Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Lunar, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, etc. Don't have near enough time to sink into those now, nor the attention span. (shh, don't look at my hours into 7D2D, thats different lol) Can't forget the Resident Evil series.

Minecraft, you say? How long have you been playing it??
Also, what do you often build? Towers? Statues? I'm actually quite curious:D

Re: Favorite video games? (For Gamers)
My top favorites actually got moved just recently with Subnautica taking a huge leap to my number 1.
The other games I tried and enjoyed was final fantasy 15 and I haven't finished Nier: Automata yet but its good so far as well.
Older games I played I enjoyed the Nintendo SNES's Donkey Kong Country so much. My first shooter was 007: GoldenEye
I enjoyed the old Command & Conquer series as well.
But listing my entire 160 game collection on steam would be disastrous for the post... So
A few good hits were
Rimworld(2nd favorite spot)
Prison Architect is good.
Stellaris had me going but paradox might end up breaking it.
I enjoy Crusader Kings II as well lol.
EDIT: HOW COULD I FORGET, Total War: Warhammer II has me hooked, cause why not? Dragons Vs dinosaur-like creatures in epic scale RTS style battle that are vividly detailed. With nice lore and background if you like that kind of detail.
Skyrim also has a special place in my heart.(Even if they used Wyverns)

I must say, you have a pretty cool taste in video games!
Ive seen a lot of video game compilations revolving around Subnautica. What's the game even about? I know it's something with ocean exploration (maybe?). But people seem to really like it! Though, I haven't really been interested enough in watching a gameplay of it. Would you recommend it?

It is a sandbox survival game based in an alien planet with an oceanic ecosystem the game is amazing pretty much taking the violence out of survival games(Explained in the story) You get a survival knife, that is the only lethal weapon you can craft.
It has a VERY hands-off storytelling that lets you explore the game at your own pace and the way the studio has done it, is amazing. I FULLY RECOMMEND GOING IN BLIND~!!!.
Don't ruin the game by watching youtube lets plays a massive part of the game is that :O factor because it's just that freakin good. Its beautiful and the map was made by hand every part is on purpose or has some purpose. They actually are in progress of developing a standalone expansion based in the arctic ocean of the very same planet and I would pay the Full game price over again to play it.
As for what it is about story wise All I can say is to watch the release cinematic trailer it does a WONDERFUL job of portraying the game without spoiling it.

Daaang, sounds pretty cool! Can't remember the last time an actual free-roam game was released that I was interested in; I'm curious to see how it turns out:D I'll steer clear of gameplays then, good thing I haven't watched them XD
I see that one of its platforms is Xbox One, so I'll try it out when I can!
Thanks for the recommendation!

Growing up I played a lot of Super Mario 1,2, and 3 Goldeneye, Duck Hunt, and Mario Kart. Now I play a variety. For shooters I like the Battlefields, and Titanfalls. Red Dead Redemption is fun if I have time to kill. I've been getting in to Sleeping Dogs lately. It's kind of like GTA except you are an undercover cop in Hong Kong trying to infiltrate the Triads. It's the funnest game nobody has heard of lol.

Re: Favorite video games? (For Gamers)
Borderlands 2 was announced for PSVR! Looks like it's time to dive back into the wastelands! I wish they weren't asking a full $50 for it though...
Subnautica is well done although I do wish there was a bit more direction when you start off. Youtube will deff spoil the fun surprises. You have to enjoy survival games though or you'll probably find it rather boring. It's a beautiful game.

Re: Favorite video games? (For Gamers)
Used to do the PS4 thing but switched back to pc.
My favorite is usually the Fallout series but if I want interaction, my go to games are Squad, which is a mil-sim and Rust. I guess Rust is very close to minecraft except much more brutal.

Re: Favorite video games? (For Gamers)
I've recently bought the pre-order of x4 - foundations.
I have enjoyed most of the x-games so far ( with the exclusion of rebirth ) and I trust them to support the game long term. But it may not beat elite dangerous in the long term.

X-games, eh? I've actually never heard of them. What genre of game are they? What's it about?

Space based fps but including economy, factory building, fleet aquisition, empire building or flat out piracy really. :)
The currentl game similar I spend most time in awaiting the release is elite dangerous but they are dissimilar in the online player faction/ mmo sense.

Sounds pretty cool actually! I don't believe I've played those kinds of games before, so I'll test it out for new taste whenever I can:)

I'm not much of a gamer myself, but my brother is & I know he recommends everyone he meets bloodbourne, dark souls (1, 2 & 3), monster hunter, subnautica and super metroid
And if you're looking for something light MY favorite game is Fantasy Life, it's a cute little fantasy RPG (I think it's pretty easy when compared to other games in that genre, which maaay be why I like it so much haha), though I think it's only for the 3DS
-
Right Im playing PUBG, Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1 on xbox1.
Will be getting Battlefield V, Red Dead 2, and Fallout 76 when they come out.

Dark Souls is actually pretty cool, actually! I've been needing to finish it, but I've only played a few battles here and there. Also, I really should get a 3DS here soon XD I'm too much of a fan of Xbox for my own good

Pub G seems pretty popular nowadays. What's it about? I'm assuming it's a lot of fun because a lot of people seem to play it XD
