Regular season starts in just 28 days!!!!

I just finished my first mock draft (rookies, I suggest doing a few to get the idea of how the draft works, the trends, etc...) and I am READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

Maybe an hour and a half. It can vary a bit, but I'd say under two hours. I've had some that are under an hour

sorry i've been super busy and outta the office. we had 12 onsite events over 4 days last week! and a few more this week! anyways imma be in PDX this weekend and can't do that. imma then be in Boston for a few days next week and cant' do that. otherwise i'm open to evenings PST when i get back or the following weekend if folks can hold out?

I'm fine with weeknights too. I'm working just days right now so I'm wide open at night.

Week nights except Thursdays - that's our sales commission cut-off night and is always hit or miss if I'll be working late. I'm pretty good weekends, too, after this one....

Hahaha, will do. This is my first league with people located throughout the time zones. It's always been local guys and gals til now. Although, ironically enough, one league I played in for probably 7 or 8 years had one buddy who moved to Chicago. But since he was the only one, he was on his own hahaha.

has everyone downloaded the Yahoo! FF app? and joined the league yet? just text or email me. can't wait for kickoff!

9/3 would be best for me too - though I can make tonight work.

I asked my husband and he said that we have to be invited to the league via email with Yahoo.

Hey all, here's the latest update:

NFL kickoff is only 8 days away, next Thursday with the Falcons taking on the Super Bowl Champion Eagles (ugggh :tears:).
So, we need to determine a draft date and time, and soon. I can't create the league until we have a draft date.
I'm off all day tomorrow and Fri, so I can take the time to create the league and send invites once we choose a date.

Let's do it one night coming up....Sun, Mon, Tue or Wed...
I am having knee surgery Tues, but will be down to draft that night if it works best for others.

we just did a quick 3 and a half day blitz to party and shop for the weekend! in by Fri, out by Mon. one of my BFF's moved there last year to take up a gig at MIT, so imma be back when they finish building that big Wynn/Encore casino. here's a zoomed in pix from his Cambridge high rise:

Ok, so, sorry about the delay. The last few days have been a living nightmare. But, I suppose, better late than never.

Ok, so we live in a world where athletes make ridiculous amounts of money, that started years ago when ARod and Manny signed $100Million plus dollar contracts at $20Mil a year. Meanwhile, the vast majority live paycheck-to-paycheck. It's just wrong on so many levels, but it's been this way for years, I'm used to it.

But, the whole Kahlil Mack thing really grinds my gears. Don't get me wrong, Mack is a BEAST and deserves to be among the highest paid defensive players in the league. But seriously, the freaking guy gets REWARDED with a trade, a HUGE extension (6 years/$141 Mil. With 90 Mil GUARANTEED) for BAILING on his team!!!! He was UNDER CONTRACT to play football with the Raiders for the 2018 season. But, he refused to fulfill his contract, ditched his teammates and is REWARDED by becoming the highest paid defensive player in football.
So, in conclusion, this guy cry-babied his way out of his previous contract, now gets paid almost 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS PER GAME, and gets 90 MILLION NO MATTER WHAT. He could put no effort whatsoever into training, practicing, studying film, etc..., he could get hurt tomorrow and never be the same or even play another game and he walks away with 90 MIL?!?!?!?!?

OK, end rant...

Well I hate my team right now. My Cowboys just dumped their HOF kicker Dan Bailey. Congrats to whoever scoops him up. Looking forward to another underwhelming and disastrous season. :mad:
