Cool stuff. Good luck with the negotiation

I think that boa looks lovely very pink on the face and nice markings and colorations even in the crapola pics they sent you.

Hope they accept cause that’s a sweet deal

My offer has gone up to asking price, but now they are saying they will only sell the snake in her current enclosure (40 breeder) because the snake likes it!! Ugggh....
Oh wait...now the snake is her son's snake, so she can't sell it without him knowing...

I'm about to give up. But I still want the rack for the original price we agreed on. Now they're not answering my texts.

    Wow... SMH

How much are they asking for the 40 breeder??

i assumed the snake was using one of those cages hence wanting to sell it all

maybe she should have asked her kid if she could sell the snake.... PRIOR TO POSTING IT IN A FOR SALE SECTION...

My neck hurts from all the heaf shaking and it’s not even my deal...!!

    Sorry man that blows.

Yup, she sucks. I'm still hoping to get the rack cause it's a great deal, but this lady sucks. I wish she was a guy so I could smack him around a bit.

    Cut and run!!!

Not worth it at this point.

Get yourself a special boa. One that you researched and can't wait to have. I don't know if this seller is worth dealing with any longer.

The caging is a good deal, but you still don't know the condition the cages are actually in.

They have terrible pictures of both the snake and the caging.

At this point, the "good deal" is turning into more of a chore.

    Yeah, too many red flags

My hunch (when people are this flaky to deal with) is that once you see the cages in person, you'll find they're in crappy shape anyway. RUN!

Reminds of when I decided to move out of state, & searched online for houses to look at in my choice of area, ahead of my actual visit to the area:
Some of the ones I liked the most online were complete no-go's in person. Photos can be SO deceiving, as is what all they leave out. Run away
    and don't look back...

Sorry for your frustration Craig. :( I understand where you are coming from. I buy a lot of stuff of of eBay for a another hobby of mine. I run into stuff like this all of the time. Sometimes they work out out, other times they don’t. Just go with gut and don’t second guess yourself.

Yeah, squashed the deal... it's too bad, that deal was solid assuming condition was as good as I was told. I was looking forward to my first boa too...

Temptations are everywhere...take your time. The people that are a big pain to deal with are often hiding things anyway. Not worth it.

Get a boa from a real breeder or hobbyist, the market is flooded with snakes, getting a good one should be easy.

Like others have said, cut and run. Not worth the effort anymore. I did like that boa though. The cages though, well you know my position on Proline cages already lol.

I say go with like Gio said and just find a nice boa you really want, be it a BCC, morph BCI or normal BCI. And i would personally get AP cages.

Proline cages are great and the plastic is the safest, nontoxic plastic out there.

Don’t worry about Proline quality. I’ll put my 4 cages up against anything out there for price, size and quality.

I haven’t come across a cage yet that I’d pick over what I have. It’s all about how you set your cage up.

As far as the boa goes, research some quality boas from a true breeding enthusiast.

Size is a non factor. They are typically docile and wonderful larger snakes.

I bought my locality boa for a bit over $200.

You can easily fulfill your boa quest with something special if you have little time to research and zero in on the perfect boa for you.
